She sat on an island,
Far from human knowledge,
Only gazing at the sea of stars.

Misery touched by ignorance,
The only thing understood by the lady with a naked heart.

Her spirit cold but unscathed,
Handled so negligently,
Being the thing she yearned to cure.

So bold and so vigilant,
After fighting so long against the phantoms,
Attempting to break her to her very last bone.

She lives like each day is her last,
Waiting as time slowly progressed,
Watching as the sea bank is scrubbed clean.

No one came to see her,
Not even the glorious sun,
Who always smiled;
Young and naively.

Solitary and frightened,
It's all she came to learn.
