Mirror

On the plain walls of where it sat,
A mirror reflecting all where one stands,

Reflecting guilt.
Reflecting pain.
Reflecting regret.
Reflecting sins of dark past times.

Manipulating the image
for the outside.
But it stands like a picture,
Showing what it showed when once disgusted upon.
An image it reflects from the past.
Never forgetting.

Reflecting memories,
Reflecting misery,
Reflecting remorse,
Reflecting change.

A mirror which stands,
Reflecting all,
But replicating the bad.

Once changed again,
It shows what one desires.
A perfect image of one's own liking.
All to satisfy a crowd of mirrors.
Which reflect the images of perfection.
