Ever loved that feeling of the calm before the storm?
Let me tell you...

It feels like you're sitting on a cool bed of fresh, clean grass.
The air fills with a mixture of light and darkness.
The air around you stays still.
As if time has come to a complete stop.

A cool breeze softly grazes the surface of your pink skin.
The sun is about to die,
Ready to give its last breath.
You know this and yet...
You feel at peace,
With a wondering gaze
Studying the curves of the illuminated mountains on the horizon.

The earth rumbles beneath you.
Parts of the sun are already separated--
Light flourishes from the core.
You still sit there with a distant smile.
Eyes fixated on the white bloom of the sun,
Light washing over the earth with intense heat.

Do you like that?--

The feeling of being unable to experience fear but harmony instead when a catastrophe is set in front of you?

...you should if there is nowhere to run.
