Chapter 13

----------

•RYNN'S POV•

The boot on my left foot was killing me, and I only had to have it on for 1 more day. Fist pump! In the meantime, the guys were having lots of meetings, and I enjoyed being there with them. Sometimes they'd pull me on stage, and I'd have a fit, but eventually I would give in and play a few games with them.

Tay and I have grown really close, like super. I come to him with all my problems. Don't get me wrong, I still hung out with Nash and Cam, but Nash seemed to be scheming something and had no time for me.

Cam was trying to connect more with fans, so he spent tons of time on Twitter, so hanging out with him wasn't as fun anymore. Tay made me his first priority, and that meant a lot to me.

"I spend a lot of time looking at the stars, but I still haven't taken the time to research the constellations." I laughed, and Tay laughed with me. We were laying on the hotel roof, staring at the night sky. Tay pointed at a small group of stars

"Well, that group over there is Orion."

"I don't know what you're pointing at."

"Scoot over here, I'll show you." He patted to the spot next to him and he took my hand. I looked down at our hands and I could practically hear his smile. He lifted it and pointed to the stars.

"This is his hand, which leads to his arm. He's holding a sword, which are these four stars here. These stars make up his head and then that's his body." Tay said directing my hand back to trace the stars.

"There's actually a story behind it. Do you wanna hear it?"

"Sure."

"Well, Orion is the dominator of the northern sky. You see, he was madly in love with the daughter of King Oenopion, Metrope, but Orion was consistently denied marriage to her. His love for her raged, and while in a drunken stupor, raped Metrope. Oenopion went to the god Dionysis, and found revenge. Dionysis cast Orion into a deep sleep, and plagued him with blindness, and upon awakening, Orion sought the help of an Oracle.

It told him that to gain his sight back, he would need to travel east, and let the rays of the sun strike his eyes. Orion did this, regained his sight, and later lived in Crete, where the goddess of the moon, Artemis, fell in love with him. Her love for him was so strong, that she failed to light the evening sky with moonlight.

Orion's death came about when Apollo challenged Artemis to hit a speck among the waters of the ocean, not knowing that this speck was Orion swimming. Artemis shot a single arrow killing him. In response to her actions, Artemis placed Orion, near the seven daughters of Oenopion, the Pleiades. Here they remained as the mightiest hunters of the night sky." He told the story and took in a deep breath. I was amazed that he remembered that much.

"Wow."

"Yep."

"That was amazing!" I exclaimed, making him turn scarlet. He looked at me and I grinned at him, shutting my eyes and he smiled back.

"You really think so?"

"Yes! The fact that you remembered that whole story with all that detail is, wow. That's super cool." He laughed and looked at the stars again. But I watched his features. His smile was big as he searched the sky for more constellations. His biceps flexed as he put his hands behind his head. He was very attractive, and I bet he always got the girls. I still like Nash though.

Tay noticed me staring and his smile turned to a frown.

"Is there something wrong?"

"Yes. You're swag is over powering my vision. Can you turn it down? Thanks." I joked and he laughed again. Tay grabbed my hand, turning back to me again and looking me straight in the eyes. I started to fidget. He doesn't like me does he? Because I don't want to break his heart.
