"Thanks, again." I mumbled as Dylan helped me climb into bed.
"Stop thanking me."
"Shut up." I smiled at him.
He had lifted off his shirt and climbed into bed with me.
'What do you think you're doing?" I looked him cover, getting comfy in my bed.
"Oh I was really hoping for some makeup sex."
His sarcastic tone made me glare at him.
"I'm kidding."
I waited for an explination. "I promised I wasn't going to let anything else hurt you. I'm keeping that promise."
"Dylan you don't have to-" "Shush." He put a finger to my lips. I tried to bite his finger before he pulled away.
"Geez. Down girl." He patted my damp head.
I shot him a dirty look.
He chuckled. Wow. Haven't heard him laugh in a while.
"Goodnight Carter."
"Wait!" I stopped him from turning over. "I- I need to know." My voice cracked in nervousness.
"Know what?"
"When this happened. I mean-" I slowly sat up. "I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember. And suddenly some stupid-"
He interrupted me by kissing me.
His lips were so soft and worked perfectly with mine. He pulled back and rested his forehead against mine.
"I always knew you liked me." He chuckled.
"What?!" I screeched.
"Don't feel bad. I liked you before I knew you were my mate. I knew you were my mate last year, after I first phased on my 15th birthday."
That makes so much sense! He had become very touchy-feely a while after his birthday!
"Since when?" I demanded.
"Like... 7th grade." he pandered.
"What?"
I mean, almost four years!
