"Exams are getting closer, you know", I said."I know", Xavier replied.
"And then there's graduation, you know."
"I know."
"We'll both be on our own path."
"It doesn't mean we have to break up. We can still be in a relationship."
I sighed. It's been a week since Christmas and our final exams are just round the corner. And then there would be graduation, separation...
I shook my head to get rid of such ominous thoughts. I should be enjoying myself. I finally have a boyfriend! And he turned out to be my best friend! Life was really unpredictable.
"I know what'll cheer you up", Xavier said. "What do you have in mind?", I asked. He smirked,"A date. Our first date."
Oh god! Why do my cheeks suddenly feel so warm?
"Are you blushing?", Xavier teased.
"What? No! I don't blush!"
"I find it cute."
"Shut up!"
"So...I'll pick you up at seven?"
"A dinner date?"
"And something more..."
"Seven's fine."
I turned away so that Xavier couldn't see the huge grin on my face.
Our first date! Yikes! I'm more than excited! Hehehehe!!!
Little did I know, that it would be my last date too...
