The doorbell rang at exactly seven pm. I grinned as I found Xavier standing on the porch, looking excited.
"Shall we?", he asked. I chuckled and got inside his car. "Where are you taking me?", I asked. "Somewhere amazing", was his reply. I rolled my eyes and turned on the radio. As Xavier started the engine, both of us started braying loudly along with the song -

As we finished singing, or rather, barking like puppies, I realized that Xavier had stopped the car in front of a small hillock. I was surprised because I had been expecting to be taken to a restaurant, but Xavier clearly had other plans in his crazy mind.
I looked at Xavier and he just motioned me to follow him. He began walking up the hill and I followed suspiciously. What had Xavier exactly planned for our first date?
Soon, I knew the answer as we reached the top.
And the view took my breath away.
