Serena Black had previously departed from La Push with little intention of returning, her reluctance to return was the result of her unwillingness to remain in a region wherein she believed she would merely encounter grief and misery.

It was neither her loved ones nor friends, no, it was merely one individual: Paul Lahote.

The sole motivation behind her return was the fact that her youngest sibling, Jacob Black, had turned into a werewolf, and despite her deepest wishes that he would not, she feared that he might.

When her father had contacted her, she held no obligation to return; nevertheless, he was her little brother, and if she was capable of lending him of any assistance, she simply had to do so.

In addition, his transformation implied that there must be some vampires afoot, and regardless of the fact that she was merely a regular human, she, nevertheless, felt obligated because of her role as the eldest sister; even though the responsibility of protection was now under the purview of Jacob, she held onto the role symbolically due to her status as the elder sibling.

Arriving at La Push had felt exceedingly oppressive the moment she crossed the treaty line," Home Sweet Home," Serena said with bitterness, acknowledging that she might have had some fond recollections of the area, and acknowledging that it may have appeared trivial that just one heartbreak caused her to leave but, unfortunately, she did not handle it well, hence her departure.

She arrived at her residence, taking in one deep breath, as she alighted from her vehicle, acquiring her solitary bag of belongings and making the decision to return home, her stay being only for a temporary duration, simply until she could ascertain that it was secure for her family.

She walked towards the entrance to her childhood dwelling, and as soon as she attained the threshold, the door flung open forcefully, and rushing forth, were her sisters, Rachel and Rebecca, who pounced upon her and pressed her to the ground with the force of the impact.

"Mother of God! Bex! Rach! I don't want to end up with any fractured bones as soon as I return home!" Serena exclaimed, while laughing, as she embraced her sisters, pressing them tightly against her whilst they were prostrate on the ground.

Rebecca proved to be the first individual to extricate herself from the embrace, as Rachel soon followed in doing so as well, both extending their hands to her," Welcome home Rena," Rachel chirped at her eldest sibling, her tone full of warmth and enthusiasm.

"Please tell me that the two of you didn't tell anyone else of my return," Serena whined, as she patted herself off, casting her gaze at the pair of twins, with suspicion evident in her expression.

Rebecca proceeded to shake her head to imply a negative response to the query," No, only Rachel and myself know," she stated.

"Good, where is Dad?" Serena queried, while trailing close behind her sisters as they led her inside of the house.

"Good question, he's probably with Mr Swan"

"Ah, I heard that his daughter came back, why are you both even home anyways, I swear when I asked, you two kept quiet" Serena eyed the twins and they both shared looks and grinned

"Well, we came back just for a small visit after we graduated, and something happened" Rachel fiddled with her thumbs and Serena raised an eyebrow at her

"Meaning?" She asked crossing her arms and the girls both grinned and Rebecca spoke

"Rach got imprinted on!"

"What?! Who?" Serena's smile broke out

Rachel's face turned red," Well, it was...um...Jared"

Serena's jaw dropped as she let out a snort," Oh my god-baby Jared phased?! That's amazing! And that's so great to hear Rach, you always had a crush on him!"

She pulled Rachel in a hug-happy that she got to be with the person she had liked despite him being there younger brothers' friend, she couldn't help but have a long-time crush on the sweet guy.
