She was cut off as Paul hugged her tightly lifting her in a hug as he rested his head into her neck.
"You're really here" He whispered as she chuckled feeling his breath on her neck
"Sure am, I told you all I would never miss it!"
He held her in the hug for a moment, and let her down not removing his eyes from her own," Okay, if you two even think about kissing I really will barf!" Jacob said as he shoved Paul away pulling his sister in a hug also lifting her.
"You took way too long Sis," He said as she laughed as he let her down
"Give me the earful later, right now, there is a line of people who want to hug me, so dear brother, excuse me!" She walked around him to hug the others.
"You'd think it was her special day," Rebecca said as she walked over to the boys
"Everyone forgot it was a graduation ceremony the moment she came" Rachel snickered, as they watched their sister being trampled in hugs by the family.
As soon as she finished with the family, Paul walked over pulling her away from everyone, much to their protest, but they all knew he was the one who needed time alone with her the most.
"Paul, you are really asking for people to threaten yo-" Paul cut her off, smashing his lips into hers, and she instantly returned it as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
She pulled away, for air," Well, I'm glad I brushed my teeth before-hand" She teased as he rolled his eyes
"I missed you so much" He responded leaning his forehead on hers.
She looked at him for a moment, and decided then and there, it was the right time, "Say, Paul, what do you think about making it official?" Serena asked as Paul leaned back looked at her shocked at her question
"Are you sure?" He asked as he held her face in his hands, caressing her cheek with his thumb.
"I know I been in a coma for goodness, five months, but despite that, I still heard all your words, and I realized, that you and I don't need to prove to each other about how we feel. We know where it was going, and we know we want this Paul" She said as she looked into his eyes, and he leaned forward connecting their lips
"God, I love you so much, Serena"
"I love you too Paul" as soon as she said those words, there were loud cheering and whistles from behind them, and they both looked to see their family.
"Please don't tell me they were there the whole time" She whispered
Paul wrapped his arm around her waist," Oh, they were"
Serena and Paul laughed, as they saw a few of them passing each other money, but most of them were handing the money to Seth," Well, looks like Seth won" Paul said as she rolled her eyes
"I bet they are going to bet on marriage and kids"
