Do you love me?
Is it wrong to think you do?
Is it wrong to think
That with me you aren't through?
Do I love you?
Is it wrong to say I do?
Especially when you're telling me
That with me you are through?
I can't pretend to understand
Why you're treating me this way.
I have a million words to impart
Yet I don't know which ones to say
You don't give me a chance
You don't know your own mind
You refuse divine inspiration
And my suggestions in the same kind.
You won't try counselling
You won't even talk
You won't listen to someone smarter
You've decided you're just gonna walk
I don't want to hear from you,
The good things or the bad.
It doesn't matter what you say
It all just makes me mad.
I'm not trying to hurt you
It's just that I'm so hurt.
I do believe I'm justified
To let myself, my, thoughts spurt.
So I ask do you love me?
If you say no, it'd be a lie.
So why is it you leave,
I guess, you, I cannot satisfy.

Another for my husband, if you couldn't tell, lol. Love him to the ends of the earth but boy can he be dumb. I guess if things don't work out, at least I can say I tried.
