Chapter 29: Fences

Mae's Pov

Our pilot told us that Zayn took another way back home, so we rushed back to California as soon as possible to find him

I jumped out the jet and looked around my surroundings, I have a strange feeling in my gut

"You okay?" Louis asked. I continued to look around, but there was nothing there... I shook it off and faced him and my friends

"I'm fine, let's just go" I smiled, they smiled back at me and took me home.

My home coming was wonderful, but honestly, I couldn't much enjoy it, I was too worried about Zayn and how much he could be hurting

"We'll find him Mae, I promise" Louis cooed while kissing my cheek. I could feel the worry he was holding

"It's been two weeks..." I sighed

"We'll find him" I nodded and looked around the living room, something kept bothering me for the past 2 weeks, what was it?

"It's your powers, stupid" Fran and Fer appeared from thin air. I jumped and held my chest in surprise. don't they look... handsome. they were dressed up in suits

"Fernando! Francisco!" I gasped, Louis hid me behind him, not from Fernando, but from Francisco. I'm sure he still doesn't trust him, I don't even know if I do either

"Oh relax, I'm a vampire again, I'm not a demon" Fran looked away, annoyed. Fer messed up his hair

"I'm sorry for my little brother, he is a different man, I promise" he smiled. Louis huffed

"You made him a vampire again" Fer nodded

"Yes"

"He killed my parents, tried to kill Mae and raped my sister while he was a vampire. what made you think he's a better man because he's one again? he did all those things while he was one! what makes this any different!? Different man my ass, the only thing different is his color!"

"I killed my sister" Fran snapped out of nowhere. Louis and I looked at him surprised

"You what?" Louis asked

"I killed my sister, the reason I killed your parents, tried to kill Mae, and raped your sister is because of the revenge for killing my family, but you know what I did?" Fran started tearing up, I moved to Louis side, looking at him in shock... he was crying...

"I choice to kill my sister, James was suppose to do it but I did it! then I told Fer to take me to the shadow world..." he sobbed and hid his face, taking a deep breath "I killed my family" I gasped "all of them, just to prove that I'm over my past... Fer said demons had no emotions, so what was the point of seeking revenge for the people who doesn't love me?" I looked up at Louis, he was looking at Fer

"It's true, this was the hardest thing he had to do. all he wanted was love, Louis. his family meant everything to him, if killing them forever isn't proof that he is over everything, then I don't know what else will" I looked to my left, feeling that thing again...

"I guess..." Louis sighed "if he really killed his family on his own to prove a point..." It was silent "Mae?" I looked up at him

"Yeah?"

"Do you forgive him?" I blinked

"Who?" I looked at my left again, that feeling...

"Francisco" I looked at Fran staring at me, with stained tears on his cheeks...looking completely guilty... he sat on his knee

"Mae, forgive me for what I did? I was a mess, I truly was... I killed my family just to prove it, please... all I want is forgiveness" I could see in his brown eyes that he meant it. I nodded and offered my hand, he took it and stood up
