Tom's POV

It was currently lunch time for the soldiers, and I had already ate. So now I sat in the training room bored. I know I could've went to my room but I didn't want to

So here I sat. Staring off into the distance trying to focus on the things. Which I could barely see because things from further away began to look blurry. And it was quite irritating honestly

And just knowing that I'm going to lose my sight sooner or later. On top of that I have just a few months left! Isn't that just fantastic!? Oh! I forgot to mention! My friends are unaware of what is happening and I'm stuck with my fucking enemy!!

"Fuck my life!" I growled

"Oh? So what's going on here?" A female voice asked

I turned to the door and saw a girl standing at the entrance. She has short hair but long enough to go over her shoulders, half of her head was shaved, her bangs were separated in a way so she had one side covering one of her eyes and the other was out of the way. She wore a Red Army soldier uniform

She has her arms crossed over her chest but a curious expression on her face. She looked me up and down examining my sitting figure before smiling

"What happened?" She asked her arms dropping to her sides

"Fucking life is hell" I grumbled

She laughed "I could never agree more" She said before walking over to me

"So uh, who are you?" I ask as she sat next to me

"Oh, the name's Reality. Nice to meet you uh.." Reality trailed off realizing she didn't know my name

"Tom" I said "The name's Tom" I said

"Neat" Reality said before looking at me, she looked at me again but since she was closer she could see more, her eyes stopped at my eyes "Wait- You have black eyes? Or do you even have eyes?" Reality asked

I laughed "I do have eyes, I can see- well not well anymore -I was born with them. I had gotten these eyes from my mother" I said

"Good to know" Reality said "Anyways, watcha doin' here?" Reality asked

"Just thinking" I replied "Why are you here?" I ask

"Bored" Reality said simply "Walkin' down the hall and I heard you so I came over to see what was the commotion about" Reality said

"Oh?" I said

Reality hummed in response "I never seen ya 'round here, you new?" Reality asked

"No actually. I was brought here around last month or so" I said

Reality looked at me "Wow, I guess I really am to blind to notice new people now" Reality laughed before leaning back onto the wall

"How long have you been here?" I ask leaning onto the wall as well

"Well, when the Army was first created. I was one of the first soldiers to be there" Reality explained

"Oh.. So do you know who Red is?" I ask

Reality hummed "Red Leader had created the Army and Pat, Paul and I were the ones to help, and first to join" Reality said

"Wait so you're saying you're friends with him?" I ask sitting up

Reality smiled "Smart one" Reality laughed "Yes we are. We've been friends ever since primary school" Reality said "But he did eventually leave and went to Britain. I barely saw him anymore, but we still kept in touch. Trying our best to talk to each other when we could" Reality smiled
