Chapter 20

Lu stood there looking at Yibo as if she saw something that she has been searching for all her life.
Her lips quivered while her eyes were clearly glassy.

Both Zhan and Yibo were mystified by her reaction.
Zhan quickly walked over to her and held her hand.

"Jie, what's wrong? " Zhan asked looking at Lu.

"Ah? " Lu was brought out of daze by Zhan's words.
"It's... It's nothing, A-Zhan... "
Lu tried to cover it up with a smile.

"But... You had tears. " Zhan said looking at Lu.

"Ah? Well, it's nothing. He... he just resembled someone I knew in the past. " Lu said as she smiled at Yibo.

"He resembled someone? Who did he resemble, jie? Do I know that person? " Zhan asked.

"Jie? " Zhan called Lu.

"Ah... No, A-Zhan. You don't know him. " Lu said with a smile.
"By the way.... This is? "

"He is Wang Yibo... He's... He is the love of my life, jie. " Zhan said with a shy smile on his face.

"Look at how you're blushing, A-Zhan. " Lu chuckled.
"Nice to meet you, Yibo. " Lu smiled at Yibo.

"Nice to meet you too. " Yibo gave her a small smile.

"You both make a lovely couple. " Lu said looking at Zhan and Yibo making the two boys blush.

"Thanks, jie. " Zhan chuckled and so did Yibo.

"Zhan... I'll get going then. " Yibo smiled at Zhan and Zhan nodded.

Yibo bowed to Lu and turned to leave when Lu called him.

"Yibo... " Lu said.

"Yes. " Yibo turned to face Lu.

"Why don't you come here for breakfast tomorrow? " Lu asked with a smile.

"Ah.... " Yibo thought as he looked at Zhan's face.

"He'll come, jie. " Zhan smiled at Yibo and Yibo smiled back.

"Okay, then. We'll be waiting for you. " Lu smiled as she waved at Yibo. Yibo waved back with a smile and started walking towards home when his phone buzzed and he knew who it was.

Yibo picked the call and placed the phone to his ear.

"As said before, Zhan will never let Yibo walk alone. "

Yibo woke up earlier than usual the following day and got ready as quickly as he could. He went out of his room and saw Haikuan going through some files on the living room couch.

"Ge. " Yibo called.

"Yibo, where are you going? " Haikuan asked looking at Yibo.

"I'm going to Zhan's house, ge. His sister invited me for breakfast. " Yibo said.

"His sister? " Haikuan asked with raised brows.

"Yes. " Yibo said.

"Oh okay. Go on then. " Haikuan smiled.

Yibo nodded as he walked out of the door.

'Guess she found out. '

Yibo walked to Zhan's house and he knocked on the door.
