Present time update

Meredith grey was a second-year resident now and has been for about five months now. 5 months ago she met her half-sister Lexie, at first she was reserved and harsh towards but soon warm up to her. They now get drinks together and hang out together at least once a week, while being there for each other at the hospital as well.

Christina had been left at the altar at the end of their internship, but she is doing okay now continuing at Seatle Grace.

Meredith and Derek were having a strong relationship until she drowned. From then on he had started to pull away, when Meredith told him to not give up on her, he decided to give it a try. But two months ago, he had cheated on her with some random girl. He has asked Meredith to forgive him multiple times, but she has been ignoring him.

Alex Karev and Izzie were together, and happy. Alex and Meredith have also become very close friends.

George is still good friends with all of them and has already gotten the divorce from Callie because he cheated on her with nurse Olivia. Olivia has now moved to a different hospital because a lot of people dislike her.
