CHAPTER 8

"You senile snake." Arnav whispered.

"I know about that Arnav, so do not rub it on my face thinking it would hurt me." She laughed evily.

"You!! At least I thought you wanted to ask how Maya was fending but am once again wrong. You would never change." He said through gritted teeth.

"Oh please you talk as if you don't know me." She smirked.

"Yeah I almost forgot who you are! The witch that sold her daughter for money and the witch that sold her husband to his enemies and the witch who was a whore! Did I forget." He laughed evily.

"You bastard. " She screamed and Arnav could already sense he had hit the bull eye.

"Money, you want money from me? Do you think am still the Arnav you Know! Better find someone else you want to blackmail not me. And am warning you if you do anything funny you would pay for it, I know you aren't in London, you are in India SHEETAL KAPOOR. Do not step on my toes, I have better things to do." He rattled and disconnected the call.

"That bastard had found out." Sheetal fumed in anger.

          Arnav mood changed totally, the whole of today, the employees where scared to go into his den because they know any little mistake their job would be in red line.

Khushi didn't see Arnav during lunch hours. She knows he didn't solely eat his breakfast well. She decided to send his food to his den.

People looked at khushi as if she has grown metal horns.

"Hey you cook where do you think you are going?" A lady asked khushi.

"Am taking his food to him, I meant ASR." She spoke smiling and the lady gape.

"Hey khushi cook, you know. We love your food very much. Your food it's the best food I have ever tasted in this office, I still want your food. Please don't go in, you would loose your job." She said anxiously and khushi laughed.

"Don't worry Didi, am not loosing my job. If you may excuse me." She smiled and left and the lady kept her hands on her head.

"This girl it's stubborn, really stubborn." She said and everyone waited for what would happen.

Khushi breathe in and out till she was sure. She knocked on the door and there was no response, she knocked again and she almost jumped at his voice.

"Am not in the mood for anything, comeback tomorrow, if it's urgent send it through my email whoever you are." He said straight and clean.

"Arnav it's me khushi." She whispered not sure of her voice. Arnav was shocked because she called him Arnav instead of Mr Raizada.

"Come in." He said flatly, when she entered the employee gasped they where waiting to see the results.

"What do you want khushi?" He said looking into her eyes. Khushi looked around and saw he scattered his office and she pout.

"Arnav  you didn't come down to have your lunch." She whispered and he shrugged.

"So!" He raised his brow.

"You hardly ate your breakfast and you didn't come down for lunch. Your sugar level would reduce and you might be Ill. If you become ill you wouldn't be able to work." She said and arnav laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" She frowned.

"Miss Gupta, thank you for worrying about me." He smiled, she blinked her eyes, he truly smiled.

She served him his lunch and he sat down to eat. He observed her well, he didn't speak when she started picking all the things he scattered in his office, she arranged them.

"Am done, thank you." He said giving her the plates and she smiled.

"You are now fully fed, you can get back to work." She smiled and left.

"Hmm I don't know why I melted when I saw her. Is it that I have already given my heart out?" He thought.

"Oh my goodness, khushi are you saying you didn't loose your head." Payal asked and everyone was shocked even Aman.

"Everyone get back to work." Aman commanded and they all frowned and left.

"Khushi are you telling me ASR ate his food without no fuss?" He asked and khushi nodded, she left a gaping Aman and went to rap up.

"Payal  Didi good news." Khushi said after disconnecting her call.

"What is it?" She asked looking at a smiley khushi.

"We have been admitted to school." She screamed and payal shushed her.

"Your classes starts in a week and mine in three months." She said and payal hugged her.

"Payal am going to Maya's place." She informed.

"Take care." They said their goodbyes.

"Khushi." She turned Arnav offered her a ride.

"Thank you you." She whispered.

The car ride was silence till arnav had a call. He fumed.

"That old hag Did what? She WHATT!?? embezzled my donations?? Am coming straight." He said

"Khushi I need to go somewhere, is it okay if we go together?" He asked.

"Yes please do not worry." She assured.

They turned back to a different road. Arnav took khushi on top of a building.

"Are we taking this." Khushi asked pointing at the chopper and he nodded.

"Are you afraid?" He said worriedly.

"Something like that." She muttered.

They boarded his private chopper. By the time they reached, khushi was already asleep.

"Sir there it's this heavy pour down in the roads of Lucknow, it would be okay if you stay the night at a hotel." Mohan said and arnav nodded.

He carried khushi bridal style and she  snuggled closer to him.

30minutes later

Khushi woke up and Almost screamed.

"I thought I was kidnapped." She said looking at Arnav who was glaring at her for ruining his peaceful nap on the couch.

"I guess we are stuck?" Khushi said

"Yes, I made room service bring a few things you would need, it's at the right corner of the bathroom." He said and she nodded.

Somewhere in Lucknow

"He wouldn't be coming tomorrow, we still have time. Tomorrow we can runaway." The lady spoke

"Yes we must, if we don't we would surely be roasted." He said.

In Delhi

"Follow them where ever they go, take pictures of them, Don't miss a single details, do you get it?" Sheetal spoke.

",Yes mam." He responded and disconnected the call.

"So you have found yourself another woman whom you are hiding from society. I would make you pay dearly dear Ex-husband Arnav Singh Raizada." She smirked.
