CHAPTER 15

Raizada Mansion

"No! I don't believe you you little rat! You don't have enough evidence." Shyam retorted and Payal snickered. Akash was afraid of this new payal. Everyone kept quiet to see what would happen even Arnav was curious.

"You underestimated a vengeful sister that you where so blind when trying to threatened me. I recorded everything, you might have destroyed the main one but the CPU of all was your confession Shyam jha." She smirked and he frowned.

"Scared already!" She raised her brow smiling wickedly.

"Okay now cut the chase, we Raizada's knows that this man here betrayed Arnav but payal what did he do to you?" Nk asked confused, Payal smiled.

Shyam was about to run when he was hit by a suspan on his occiput  which was done by Mohan and he fell.

"Sir he would wake up in a few minutes by then the officers would be in." Mohan said bowing before leaving and payal sighed.

"Let me begin my story.
My parents where happy couples with my big sister and I. We lived a simple life and we where loved by our community because of the care and help my father and mother offer to the community. There was this diamond my father came across one day by saving a man's life and was given that as a token. The greedy vultures of Lucknow heard of it and started targeting my dad. My dad never planned on using the diamond for his own pocket. He wanted to invest into a business that would yield more money so he could build good roads and hospitals for the people all he wanted was to help.

That's when Shyam came into the picture. My dad was looking for an investor and he came in as one, with fake certificate and fake company everything fake, if my father had knew.

Shyam was seen as an ambitious man who was a kind heart but it was the opposite, he was a vile snake and knew his motives of entering our lives.

He gradually started embezzling my dad's money which we had no idea where it went and who it went to, my senior sister was married to her husband Chandra, they came to live with us for two months.

During those times I always felt like Aya was uncomfortable around Shyam whenever he was around but I brushed it off because she was someone who doesn't mingle and that one I was wrong!

Shyam was my sister's mate in high school and he wanted her in his bed but he always failed that even made him more obsessed with her fortunately for her she got married and he never saw her.

He was a greedy bastard who wanted my dad's money and when he found out Aya was my sister he became more obsessed.

My father went bankrupt and Shyam kept the blame on Chandra providing fake documents to the police so that if Chandra it's sentence he would have Aya all to himself.

Mom, dad, Aya and I where devastated, we didn't believe it was Chandra that did it but we had no proof.

One faithful day Aya was alone in the house and Shyam tried sleeping with her he forced her and raped her, in the process dad witnessed it, had a heart attack and died at the spot.

We had no idea what lies Shyam cooked to the society that they started pointing hands at us, claiming my sister was a characterless girl and she wasn't feeling shy of  seducing a man when married to another in prison.

They said it was because of her arrival at Lucknow that destroyed our family and killed their hero.

My sister had enough, I wished I was always with her, she always smiles telling you everything was okay but it wasn't. She committed suicide before that she sent me a message and when I received it, she apologized and told me to apologise to mother on her behalf and when I got there she was already gone.

That day my family came crushing down, I took her belongings and saw her diary, everything that had happened. Since she and her husband stepped foot in the house, he molest and harassed her threatened he would kill one of us. She confessed he didn't finish his school and she knew who he was that was why he threatened her.

Me a silly 14years old confronted Shyam and showed my sister's recording , he took it! Destroyed it! And threatened me to take my mother with me away from Lucknow and he is giving us a week otherwise we would join father and sister.

We visited Chandra in prison, he knew what had happened and was devastated, he promised us he was going to be okay, we had to run for our lives.

My mother decided to join the orphanage whilst I struggle in the city of Delhi. I always know he was still alive and kicking destroying lifes after lifes.

I always save enough money so that one day, hopefully I would send him to court of guilty of his crimes and bring out my brother in-law Chandra, I always visit him once in a month and we keep in touch, today seeing him ignited the long years my family and I suffered in the claws of his wrath." She finished narrating the story and everyone felt for her.

Khushi immediately hugged her. She sniffled.

"Didi! It's that why you didn't want to continue your studies and wanted to save instead." She softly asked and she nodded and khushi sobbed.

"Khushi don't cry, am okay. Look am okay." She said

"Hello hi bye bye, saw what he did to arnav wasn't enough like what he did to my daughter in law payal." She said and everyone looked at her weirdly and she laughed it off.

"So that wasn't only his crime Aman, I hope his arrest warrant and everything it's ready for him to face the law." That's when they heard Arnav voice, he was talking with Aman just then the bastard woke up bam the officers arrived to escort him safely to prison hah.

"I would be back you little witch and Arnav, the next time am back I would take your wife, she would be mine." He threatened but only Arnav knew what was in stored  for him.

"Payal you are a strong woman, if not today no one knew what you went through at a young age and how you managed to live for that we say bravo and we are sorry for reminsing everything because of this bastard." Sakshi said and payal smiled.

"Am thankful I have met him today mam, Arnav had helped me out within 30minutes and I know he would be punished for his deeds." Payal assured and Arnav smiled, he went ahead and hugged payal , when he broke the hug he smiled.

"Anything for my sister in-law, I would always protect you and my wife." He said bringing out little finger. Payal gape.

"Stop looking at me like a fish, pinky promise." And they sealed their promise and payal laughed at the new Arnav, if only AR staffs were here, they would have all collapse due to excessive shock. Everyone laughed at payal surprised face.
