𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 [𝗘𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿]

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍: 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝 in sand as your eyes slowly opened. The sky was dark but yet so bright. Your eyes squinted as you rubbed them making yourself sit up in the process. When you sat up all you saw was miles and miles of sand. Your head turned to left and right but was only met with more sand.

You turned your head behind you and was met with a bright ray of light that seemed to come from the ground.

It was gorgeous.

But your eyes adjusted to the light and saw a figure standing there facing the light, you tilted your head wondering what kind of dream they were having right now. Though it was weird you felt as if you were awake right now.

"Hello?" You spoke out, hoping to get a reply to the person who was standing there. The figure turned quickly. You quickly made out their face and saw Eren, "Y/n." He spoke softly a smile on his face as he jogged over to you. Your head was blurred with many thoughts of what was going on- why you were here- why Eren was here- why there is so much sand.

"Eren what is this place?" You asked him as he took a seat right next to you. "The paths, but I don't want to explain the whole back story." He laughed nervously, strachting the back of his neck. You couldn't help but look at his face noticing the marks under his eyes.

"Eren, what's on your face?" You asked, bringing your hand to his cheek trying to rub off the marks but they wouldn't seem to wipe off. "Full of questions aren't you?" He laughed, "Well I don't know how to say it anyway other than being blunt and that's by saying I'm a titan shifter. The founder." Your eyes widened at his words, your jaw seeming to drop.

"You never told me?" You yelled out, though it was a secret he had almost every right to keep from you; you couldn't help but feel a slight bit of betrayal. "I couldn't because it was my commander's orders." "I wouldn't have told." "It was too risky, though I would have but if I did I didn't know what could happen."

You paused for a bit, you were still confused on where you were and still trying to process that Eren was a titan shifter. The founder titan shifter in fact making all the more surprising to you.

"You're probably really confused," Eren said with a light smile, "But I want you to know that I didn't have a choice on my future actions." Eren looked down at his lap when he said this, your confusion only raising more.

"What are you talking about?" You asked him, "Currently for you that event hasn't happened yet, but when I'm giving you this memory back it has or is currently happening then it'll all make sense for you."

"Y/n, I didn't do it because I wanted to. I tried to stop my comrades many times but after a while I knew they wouldn't change their mind. I didn't want to be locked up for the rest of my life and maybe never see you. I'm doing this for freedom Y/n."

Your expression softened at his words, though you didn't know what he was talking about you knew that he truly didn't want to do this.

You threw your arms around Eren, his body tensing up at the sudden connection between you two but his body quickly relaxed. He brought his arms and wrapped them around you.

"Eren it's ok. I don't know what you did or are doing but it's ok." You said softly, trying your best to comfort him. "You'll hate me even after this memory." "No I won't Eren. You know why?" "Why Y/n?"

You pulled away from your hug and looked at Eren in the eyes. His eyes glossy from tears almost flowing out of them. You brought both your hands to his cheeks and held his face gently.

"Because I love you Eren. No matter what you do."

"I love you too Y/n. I love you so much. I'm so sorry. You deserve so much better then I would ever give you. Please forgive me one day darling." Eren sobbed out, his eyes pinching from the tears flowing out of his emerald eyes.

And as you looked at Eren's titan form just like that the memory Eren had given you was placed back into your head like a missing puzzle piece.
