Dylan isn't at school.
I frown. He isn't answering my texts either. Sighing, I pull my phone away. Guess I'm alone for the day, then.
This isn't my best day. Aaron scared me this morning, and he had to drive me to school. Fortunately he didn't mention it again. I'm still confused about that strike thing.
And now Dylan is gone. And that weird eggy thing is still in me. And they ate my donut this morning. They gave me a new one, but not without taking another tiny bite.
Buttheads.
The bell rings and I quickly pull my phone out again, walking to class.
Me: Can you check on dylan? hes not at school
Jordy<3: Will do bby
Jordy<3: Dw abt it
Me: Love you!
Jordy<3: Love you too, i guess
Jordy<3: That was a short convo, geez
Me: I have class, hush
Jordy<3: Right now? Okay
I frown. Why does he sound happy about it? I shrug it off and sit down in my seat. Dallas isn't here either. My eyes widen. Would they be together? Are they making up?
I hope so. Neither Dylan nor Dallas are themselves, and I hate it.
Dylan: Omg, so sorry!
Dylan: I overslept
Dylan: You didn't have to send the whole ass squad to my house tho
I grin. Typical Dylan. And maybe this will teach him a lesson. I look up, seeing Dallas walking in. More like slouch in.
I turn to his desk behind me after he sits down. "Hey Dal! How are you?" I softly ask. He looks horrible.
He slowly looks up and I see the bags under his eyes. "I feel miserable. Thanks for asking, though. Where is he?" We don't need names to know who he's talking about.
"He's late. Overslept, once again," I gently smile. He shows me a small one too. "Yeah, sounds like him." I feel pity for him. He's suffering hard.
"Whatcha doin' today? Wanna hang out?" I suggest. His eyes widen slightly, but he shakes his head. "Can't, sorry. I'm hanging with my cousin. He's smart as fuck, and I need to study for this motherfucking finals."
I slightly cringe at his bad words. He could easily fit next to my guys, they're all equally as bad. "No problem. But if you ever want to, I'm here," I smile. He nods. "Thanks."
I turn around again, just as I feel something weird. Something's moving... inside me!
It's that weird egg.
