THE CONTRACT ARRANGEMENT

CHAPTER 8

Aron's POV

Today is the day my assistant will meet my parents, but now things have changed they will meet her as my fiancee.

A part of me knows my parents will be happy about my choice this time. I remember two years ago when mom and dad walked into my office and meet my new assistant for the very first time mom couldn't stop smiling they were so impressed about her hard work and dedication and the fact that she was so young.

"I hope you know what you are doing and it won't backfire on you one day" the voice of my sister Emily bought me out of my thoughts making me turn my chair around to face her

"Hey Sis, I've missed you" I said walking up to her hug her

"Don't sis me Aron,what is this I hear from Ivan about you marrying Danna so you can secure a huge business deal" she said sounding very mad

"Danna is an amazing woman and a great person,why do you wanna use her in such a cruel way. I know she agreed to this because Ivan told me,but really Aron why did you have to stoop so low and use her problems against her so she could help you mom and dad didn't raise us this way"

"Look Emily I need you to calm down and I want us to talk like the loving siblings we are" I said trying to calm her down thankfully she did

"Talk I'm listening" she said with a tone that left no room for argument

"Listen Emily I know what I'm about to do is wrong, but Danna is the only person I could trust about this and you know it. I already feel bad about using her problems against her,but that's the only choice I had" I told her in a calm tone she's my sister and I don't raise my voice at my sister and mother

"Okay,but don't you have a problem with her age I mean you are six years older her then Aron not that it's a bad thing. She's very young girls at her age wanna have fun travel and see the world don't you think marriage will tie her down worse a loveless marriage" Emily said with a worried tone

"I've thought of that and I'll will let her live her life,but she will live a private life like us. As for traveling and seeing the world I won't hold her back from that I'll make sure she has everything,but one thing I can't promise is love I'll never be able to love her" I told her truthfully "Plus when it comes to age you and Ivan are the best example" I added with a little bit of humor

"Truthfully speaking Danna is the best choice I've liked her ever since I met her two years ago for the very first time,I just never thought that one day she would be my sister-in-law, but promise me this one thing Aron that you will respect her even if you are alone together and don't try to think about her when you are with Danna cause she brings out the worst in you" she said with a soft tone

"I will Emily I will anyway I've got work to complete I'll see you tonight, I love you so much my sweet little sister" I told her kissing her forehead and she left.

Emily is so young yet so mature, you'd expect girls at twenty four year's old like her to be rebellious and cause trouble. But no she has always been mature for her age. Emily stopped being a girl three years ago she's a woman because she's married to my bestfriend and brother Ivan Anderson. We love and trust Ivan with our lives him and I met when were six at kindergarten,from there we became friends we went to the same high school and college we practically did everything together so when Ivan told mom and dad she's inlove with Emily they were thrilled.

When he was ten years old his parents passed away in a tragic car accident the only family he had he lost in a blink of an eye. My parents literally adopted him that very same year a week after the accident,but he was already staying with us. Adian and I were so happy because we had another male in our family who was our age, we did many things together growing up the best one has to be when all three of graduated with flying colors the same  year together.

Both in high school and college no one knew we were the son's of Elias and Jennifer Mondragon. Last thing we wanted was people warming up to us because of our family name and being treated differently.

Ivan fell inlove with Emily ever since she was little, but he hid his feelings because he felt it was wrong little did he know that I had once heard a conversation between mom and dad where they said Ivan would be the perfect man for Emily.

And look where they are now today three years married and they are so happy!

I know deep down mom and dad wish that for me and Aidan as for me that's impossible, but as for Aidan I don't know man has never ever fallen inlove and when the day comes he will fall hard

I was so lost in my thoughts that I forgot to check the time it was time for me to go home and get ready.

Arriving at my penthouse I took a hot warm shower. I was definitely going to wear a suit I know it's weird wearing a suit for dinner at your parents, but they will be meeting my fiancee and I had to be formal.

After I was done I left to my parents house luckily we both know the lines we will be saying,which included how we met and fell inlove.

This is going to be a long night I mentally thought to myself!
