Headcannons!

Welcome to the first part!! To start off, I'll include headcannons for all the upper rank demons and Muzan so you can get a sense of how the characters will interact with each other!! :)                   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DAKI

- Aroace lesbian, she/they

-Sees the rest of the upper ranks as older siblings (except for Nakime and Douma) 

-Sees Douma as a father figure 

-Has a crush on Nakime that she's tried confessing several times, but she keeps getting rejected due to Nakime finding their age difference weird (Daki kind of has a celerity crush on Naki I guess?? I hope this makes sense lol.) Very one sided ship. 

-LOVES to try and dress up the other upper ranks 

KAIGAKU

-Gay, he/him

-Sees Koku as a father figure 

-Has a crush on Gyutaro, and became best friends with him quickly after he became a demon (Gyu died before he got to confess 😭💔) 

-Joined the 'Infinity Castle gang' two years before the Entertainment District Arc (The Corps didn't find out until the Hashira Training Arc) 

-In terms of strength, he's stronger than Daki but slightly weaker than Gyutaro

GYUTARO 

-Gay, he/him 

-Liked Kai but thought Kai was straight 😭

-Sees Douma as a father figure also, but not really in the same way Daki does 

-118 years old (18 physically and mentally) 

-Was five years old when Daki was born 

GYOKKO

- Claims his gender and sexuality are connected to his art, nobody know what they really are, he/him

-Dating Hantengu (it's cannon now from the Kimetsu Gakuken manga) 

-Takes art criticism very harshly

-Builds random pot structures all over the Infinity Castle 

HANTENGU

-Doesn't really know his exact sexuality but knows he's not straight, he/him

-Dating Gyokko (I still can't believe that THIS was our first cannon gay ship but it's actually kinda cute so I'll take it) 

-257 years old, was 23 when turned into a demon (Idk the actual age he was turned so ill just go with 23 since that seems like a pretty good number to be close to Gyokko) 

-Hates when his clones get split up

NAKIME

-Bi with a VERY preference for woman, she/her

-Was turned into a demon at 30

-Best friends with Kokushibo

-Likes composing her own songs for her biwa

AKAZA 

-Bi, trans, he/him

-Falls in love with basically every strong hashira that he fights but gets over them very very quickly 

-Got top surgery at 14 years old, though the scars healed due to him becoming a demon

-Didn't plan on getting bottom surgery but when he became a demon he was able to just control his flesh to match his gender 

-HATES Douma

DOUMA

-Bi, he/him

-LOVES Akaza

-Sees Daki and Gyutaro as his children

-Almost everyone's least favorite person 

-His cult has 246.5 members (don't ask about the half member...) 

KOKUSHIBO

-Doesn't even know what a sexuality is 💀... he's very respectful though! (he/him) 

-Was turned into a demon at 24

-The marriage he had with his wife was arranged, (idk if this is cannon or not) neither of them loved the other.. He doesn't really like to think about it

-Best friends with Nakime, loves talking about books with her 

-Overworks a LOT

MUZAN

-Genderfluid, but always prefers to use he/him when with demons, when asked his sexuality he'll give one of two responses: "Who gave you permission to ask such about me?", (On the rare occasion that he's in a good mood) "Kokushibo". 

-Not a very responsible 'parent' to the upper ranks (2-6) so he usually asks Koku or Naki to babysit them

-Is fluent in 3 languages 

-Married Koku to celebrate Yoriichi's death 

-When he gains the ability to walk in the sun, he plans to travel around the world with Koku
