"Sir, there is someone who wants to meet you"

"Let him in" Namjoon permits getting a nod from the officer who barged out from the room probably to call the said visitor, namjoon leans forward while folding his hands infront of him trying to look more professional. They have just arrived at busan police station and will conduct further investigation from here,

The head officer raised his head when he heard a figure appearing infront of him. He arched his brows when he recognizes the male, he have seen this boy in taehyung's school reading with jungkook

"Hi officer, I am wang Jackson" the said boy introduces himself while taking a seat infront of namjoon who nods at acknowledgment

"I hope you are able to recognize me, we have met already i..."

"...In Hybe college. You are one of a student of Kim taehyung if that is right" namjoon cuts him off as he finished the remaining sentence getting a smile from the student

"May I know, how can I be helpful to you" Namjoon without beating around the bush comes to the point, he was tired from the long voyage and wasn't really interested in someone's self introduction

"My friends and me went to a trip to busan few days before. We were coming back from a party but suddenly something caught out sight"
Namjoon furrowned his eyebrows before motioning the other male to continue his narration

"We saw two males bickering with each othe---"

"That isn't a unusual scene. Your parents bicker too, you cannot now report against them or do you? " namjoon grimaced while looking at Jackson who shakes his head violently

"No Sir, I don't mean to say that but they were literally talking loudly which caught our eyes. When we closely examine, we found out that it was our teacher, Kim taehyung and maybe our classmate, jeon jungkook even though he was covered from head to toe, I could still recognize his voice" Jackson states as he watched how namjoon quickly drifts his whole attention towards him

"Do you have any more information. Do you know where they are" Namjoon impationtly speaks as he looked at Jackson who nods curtly before continuing, " We follow them by our car while keeping a pretty distance between us. They stops at ahopsan forest before disappearing into it. I tried to follow them there too, but it was pretty dark so I lost my track"

"You mean that bamboo forest, Ahopsan jungle which lies at the outskirts of the town" Namjoon asks confirming his confusion, getting a hurried nod in return from Jackson

"Thank you, young boy. I appreciate your braveness. You were a great help " Namjoon cheerfully compliments Jackson who passes a sweet smile to the head officer

"It was all my pleasure. I will be taking my leave now" Jackson says while standing up from the chair, before widening his eyes when namjoon walks toward him before patting his back

"Probably we will be able to end this case by your this little help. Thanks for acknowledging me with this information, or I don't know how much more time it would have taken to search for that criminal" Namjoon says, his eyes full of gratitude as he looked at Jackson who bows down respectfully before taking his leave

"Let's end this here, jeon jungkook. You have played a lot, now it is your time to have rest in hell"

Taehyung rejoicefully waded through the hordes of trees while carrying a straw basket in his hands, he was alone today because apparently he didn't let jungkook to come with him because of the snake bite even though that bite was already cured. The inflammation had gone and the redness that spread across yesterday has turned to jungkook's natural colour again. Their was no pain but a little inch at the bite skin. The ebony haired male tried to pull every trick to convince taehyung's adamant mind, but everything went in futile because taehyung didn't still agree

"Is it enough, should I pluck more plums? " Taehyung talks with himself as he looked at the almost filled basket, their were different types of herbs and fruits in it.

"I think it is enough, let's see if I can find anything else" taehyung says before skipping forward. His hazel eyes wandering around before landing on a hive that was settled up at a tree, with worker bees buzzing around it

"Woh, honey. I really wish I could have one bite of honey comb" Taehyung looks at the hive, his mind revolving around a idea as he put his basket aside and picked up a stick before marching toward the hive

He slows down a little when he was at a pretty distance from the hive. He gulps down his saliva as he rethink about his idea. It wasn't worth of the stings he might get while accomplishing this mission,

"What should I d---" Taehyung stops when he heard a shuffling sound behind him, his body gets alarmed on its own as his ears perked up to pick any minute sound

"Taehyung, Is that you" Taehyung heard a familier voice behind him before he turned around to look at the owner of the voice

"N-Namjoon" Taehyung stutters as his mouth went parched at the sight of the head officer who came running to him before pulling him into a tight hug

"Oh god! I couldn't be more thankful. Are you alright. I am sorry if I take long time to search for you, but believe me, I tried my best. Did he do something to you. Tell me" Namjoon says while pulling taehyung closer to him who hugs him back, his eyes tearing a little at the affection

"N-No hyung" Taehyung replies curtly before detaching himself from the hug. He looks around to find almost 20 officers looking at them

"What are you doing here? Where is he" Namjoon asks while looking hopefully at taehyung who gulps a little before averting his eyes from him.

He doesn't want namjoon to locate jungkook, but wasn't that his mission? His heart was betraying him, every fibre of his body wasn't cooperating with him. He felt jovial when he saw namjoon after around 2 months but there was a dull fission that crepts over him with it. He felt like crying when he anticipated what will happen if he will say the truth

"He is chasing me hyung. I get out from his clutches somehow and ran away" taehyung says while throwing himself on namjoon who widened his eyes before patting his head and kissing on his hair

"Don't worry, nothing will happen to you. Do you know, where he is now" namjoon asks getting a brusque nod from taehyung who points at a particular direction

"His house lies in that direction. He might be somewhere there" taehyung says getting a nod from namjoon, " Do you want to come?"

"No hyung. I really hate that place. I will wait for you here. You hurry up and catch him before he detect your presence" Taehyung says as he gazed at namjoons eyes before quickly averting from them

"Are you sur---"

"Yes, hyung. You go or else he will run away. I am fine here" Taehyung confirms as he saw namjoon sprinting towards the direction he instructs them. His heart felt instantly heavy with guilt while his eyes pools with tears

"I am sorry, hyung. I lies to you but I can't help it" taehyung mumbles before running towards the opposite direction, where the actual cottage lies.

"I have to inform jungkook. He needs to leave. I can't let anything happen to him" taehyung resolvely states before running as fast as he could. He felt his lungs tightening due to lack of oxygen but taehyung didn't stop, he just couldn't.

He know if he did, he will regret this his whole life. He can't let the 'love of his life' die this soon. He will fight for him and will save him
