Chapter One: Sorry Beau

On a cold wintery Friday morning Beautiful gets up earlier than she had thought, Beau wasn't quite a morning person but any opportunity that could get her out of the house before her parents started fussing and cursing she took advantage of fully.

Slowly getting up from her sprawled out position on her bed she slowly walks out of her bedroom towards the hallway bathroom, the cold breeze hitting her face causing goosebumps to form on her skin. Closing the bathroom behind her
Beau turned on the hot water, waiting for the bathroom to steam up she quickly undresses and hops in.

"Fuck Fridays" Beau hisses as she cleans her body with her body wash from Bath and Body Works, unlike many teens Beau
totally hated any sort of weekend. She didn't want to stay out of school for those two days, she'd rather be productive and run up and down her school hallways to get to class and finish off projects or assignments but she knew she'd have to deal with those two days off.

Hopping out of the shower after a solid fifteen minute shower, she wraps her fluffy towel around her body and rushes towards her bedroom hopping to at least dodge the cold air a bit. Closing and locking her bedroom door she grabs her body lotion, drops her towel after drying herself and apply the lotion onto her body. Seeing as it was cold Beautiful put on a pair skinny jeans, a long white sleeved turtleneck, her blue, white and red varsity jacket, Nike ankle socks with a pair of her old black ugg boots.

Beau felt warm and yet comfortable in her outfit. She walks back to the bathroom to brush her teeth and fix her hair into a neat bun on the top of her head. Checking her appearance she quietly grabs her book bag, cell phone, house keys and an apple making sure not to wake anyone up and heads out the front door. Beau takes out a pair of her hand gloves and slips them on, blowing out her warm air into the cold air and seeing what seemed like steam.

"Beautiful!" groaning Beau attempts to ignore her best friend Asia "Beautiful Wait Up!" Asia yells again running up behind her "Damn girl you ain't hear me yelling?" Asia breathes hard trying to catch her breath "sorry" Beautiful mumbles. Asia nods "its cool girly" she smiles "AYE IT'S FRIDAY BITCHES!" Asia yells to no one in particular "shhhhh" Beau scolds "who pissed in yo flakes this morning?" Asia inquires.

Looking the other way "Asia its too damn cold for the yelling and turning up" Asia scoffs "its never too cold to turn up boo" the two girls then walk the rest of the way to school in comfortable silence. Ten minutes later they walk into Jefferson High a pretty basic school but if Beau could get her grades and graduate she didn't care where she was at "see you later Beau" Asia hugs her and walks off towards the bleachers.

Asia lived two houses down across the street from Beautiful that's why they always walked to and from school together every week day. Beau sometimes wished her parents were like
Asia's, they were happy and Asia
basically got whatever she wanted whenever she wanted it too but Beau just wanted the happiness. But sometimes what looks good on the outside isn't as
good on the inside.

Asia had met up with the popular group at the bleachers "you still go with her?" Andre,
a mocha complexion dread head pointed towards Beautiful as she stood outside for a short while "yea punk that's my rider" Asia smirks "really?" Tiffany, a
Caucasian model look alike asks not believing her "yep" she looks at Beau "what about our bet, is it even still on?" Tiffany asks again but gets no response.

What people had not realised about Asia was that she liked to have her bread buttered on both sides, meaning she was bisexual.
She never really showed any interests towards any girl because she had her eyes on Beau but she knew Beau would never give her the time of day or even take her seriously because of how close they were so she opted in being her best friend at the moment anyway.

Brrrrrrring

The school bell rang for everyone to get to class, everything so far was going good for Beau nobody had talked bad
about her or even glanced towards her. The weather being cold led to none of the other students functioning properly. It was a day just waiting to go
as slow as ever and no one had the patience for it.

Six periods and approximately seven hours later school was officially done for the week much to Beau's dismay. The thugs had skipped the last two
periods as usual, a hoe was being fucked in the janitors closet, the populars were planning a massive party, the nerds sat around talking about a convention happening during the weekend, stoners posted up
near a tree smoking, rich kids near their expensive foreign cars most probably coming up with a master plan to fuck some shit up, the wanna be thugs just lounging around near the bleachers and the athletes on the field or court running drills. Then there was Beautiful, she
belonged to none of the circles so she walked home taking in the cold air.

"Beau!" Asia turns Beautiful around to get her attention "hey Asia what's wrong?" the way Asia had come up to her Beau thought it might have been an
emergency "oh nothing girl just wanted to tell ya I'm going to Mark's party tonight wanna join?" Beau shakes her head "no thanks Asia I'm finishing off my
mural tonight" Asia sighs "you have to get out that house and live in reality you won't be closed off to the real world forever Beau" Beau mentally rolls her eyes "I know okay but let me live in my own world for the time being and I'll cross that bridge when I get to it" Asia being an understanding friend let it go "okay well see you later love bug" kissing her cheek Asia walks off.

Beautiful shortly arrives home to see a crispy clean apple red Range Rover Sport parked right in her driveway "I wonder whose here?" she ponders and walks up the porch and into the raggedy house. She hears voices coming from the living room, two she could easily identify as
her parents voices but not the third nor forth voice. Slowly walking towards the living room her mother Lindsey acknowledges her "oh you back baby" she slightly smiles while her dad John takes a huge gulp from his glass filled with water, at the moment he had wished
he had poured in something stronger.

"Damn!" one of the men Beautiful had yet to find out about exclaims "mama what's going on?" ignoring the stares coming from the men sitting across from her parents at the dinner table "go to your bedroom everything is alright here" her
dad reassures her but as she turned one mumble 'bullshit' under his breath.

Beau simply shrugs and walks up to her bedroom with a lot on her mind and none could really make sense at the moment, and why those men were there always popped up in her mind. Putting her spray paints in her duffle bag to clean up her room a bit, shots are fired in the living room, grabbing her duffle bag she quickly but silently makes her way out of the house and makes a run for it.

Whoever that was, that had killed or attempted to kill her parents were not about to do that to her. She had seen too many movies to know to run away from the gunshots and not towards them. She failed to realise that there was a blacked out van just across the street from her house possibly waiting for a moment like this. The car sped up behind her and she let
her legs carry her as far as they could before the same apple red Range Rover she saw in her driveway stopped her in her attempt to escape.

She could could not turn back and run because of the van being there "get in quietly and I won't hurt you" a mans baritone brings her out of thoughts. Her mothers words softly replays in her mind "Beautiful mommy is so sorry" if this was what she meant then Beautiful never would be able to forgive her
parents. Dead or Alive.

This was something she could not forgive them easily for.
