I could see the ogre. It was way taller than the tree that I was in. I immediately hid myself behind the leaves of the tree. I was able to gain sight of its feet and it was humongous! A nervous feeling started in the pit of my stomach. My mouth felt dry.

Peter just said to shoot it at its eye and it's got two. I'm definitely a good shot, but this is just so weird.

The ogre roared once again causing me to fall from the tree and land on my back. I couldn't help but let out a cry of pain since the crossbow was also at my back. That was a big mistake since the ogre has caught sight of me.

I was able to see its face. It was definitely monstrous and hideous. His lips formed in a menacing snarl. His hands balled up to fists, getting ready to hit whatever came across his way. Right now, I'm that unlucky person.

It roared and started to make its way towards me. I scrambled up and took the crossbow from my back. I shot an arrow at him, but his big hands just flicked it away. I shot another and he did the same thing. It was getting closer and I decided to run. Good thing that was one of my strong points.

I went through a lot of twists and turns through the trees, but I never really went that far. I had a huge advantage with the trees. Since the ogre was quite tall, he couldn't see me down below. That was until he started to take the trees and rip them from their roots.

"Shuck shuck shuck," I cursed.

Hiding behind a tree, the ogre was still doing that same process of taking trees and throwing them into different directions. I sneaked a peek and saw that I had a good shot of him from here. I took the crossbow and aimed at its head.

But when I tried to aim for his eye, I couldn't. His head was moving frantically and I couldn't get a clear shot. I growled in frustration when he still couldn't hold still.

"Why don't you go right in front of him?" There was Newt, leaning at the bark of a tree. He has a happy and carefree expression on his face. He's obviously enjoying himself. Well good for him not to be scared of dying since he's- Bloody hell, I made myself sad. "Go right in front of him and shoot."

I thought that it was a bloody stupid idea, but it was so stupid that it was brilliant. He was right.

Taking in a deep breath, I made myself known to the ogre and yelled so that he could truly see me. I aimed the crossbow at him, but I found myself unable to pull the trigger.

Sudden flashes of the last time I took a life began to haunt me. I couldn't find myself to pull the trigger, even if my life depended on it.

I know that it's stupid, but how could I take and end another life? How could I do that to someone? Even if it's something as impossible and mythical as an ogre.

"What are you doing?" Newt was yelling at me. Trying to get me to pull that trigger because the ogre was already reaching its giant hand down to get me.

"I can't do it. I can't pull the trigger!"

"But you'll die!"

The crossbow fell from my hand and I closed my eyes. I was waiting for the ogre to get me into his big hands and perhaps, eat me alive. That's as far as I've remembered about them.

It was then I heard someone fire the crossbow. I opened my eyes and saw Peter glaring at the ogre who was now writhing in pain. The arrow was directly in its left eye. We watched as the ogre fell on its back and died in front of our eyes.

Peter then took the arrow from its eye and walked towards me. "Why didn't you shoot him? If I didn't, you'd be dead by now!" He yelled.

"I...couldn't."

"What do you mean you couldn't? Can't take a life? Haven't you killed anyone before?"

"That's the problem Peter." I stared into his eyes before saying, "I have and that's why I couldn't do it again."

"But it was an ogre!" He argued.

"Look, thank you for saving my life, but can't we just go back?"

Peter looked like there were more things that he'd like to say. More things he wanted to ask. But I was shocked when he held his tongue and agreed with my request.

"Fine. Come on." He took my hand in his and grasped it tightly. "Hold on tight."

I couldn't help but let out a gasp because I haven't exactly had any contact like this with other people but Newt. Peter noticed and gave me a confused look, but he just shrugged it off.

The same light feeling came over me. I felt us traveling through time and space.

Then the next thing I knew, we were back in Neverland. Peter let go of my hand like it was on fire when we got back. I didn't let it get to me, since I know that Peter is not exactly human.

"Are you alright?"

Although his concern for me makes me think otherwise. He can be really confusing and it's just my second day here.

"I'm fine," I told him. My head wasn't spinning like earlier.

"Good. I'll see you later in camp for your party."

I stopped dead in my tracks and couldn't help but smile at the thought. "Party? My party? Whatever for?"

"For the new Lost Girl."
