PoV- Greyson

With a lavish spread ahead of us, inspite my stomach growling my eyes kept finding my daughter who was way too busy spreading butter evenly on her toast.

I peer over at her, being thirteen now I am aware that the day isn't far that would change everything. In a blink of an eye, one year of school ended.

Breathing heavily, my chest constricts. I know the difficult times are at the fore for us all, what would happen if Renessme doesn't understand why we hid these things from her? What would her reaction be?

My left hand pulls my mate closer, I breath in her scent to calm myself down.

Jen stares and take in my features, finally cupping my face, "What is it honey? You look worried?"

All I could do was fake a smile and shake my head.

Before Jen could say something, I smell lavender and from the corner of my eyes, see my little girl standing between our chairs.

I shift back on my seat, turning so I'm fully facing Renessme now. "Yes, my love, how can I help you?"

She giggles, hugs me tight and the kisses my cheek. Finally rubbing her left side of the face.

"Daddy you need to start shaving, I don't know how Mum kisses you. It's gross" she breathes out.

My mate just laughs, "It's because I love him, Ren"

The beast inside me growls in agreement, "I love you too mate." While my hand caress her cheeks.

Clearing her throat, Ren shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

"This would cost us, ain't it?" I joke while pinching my daughters nose.

As an answer she just rolls her eyes, "Dada, I know you're busy, and it's school week starting tomorrow, but I was wondering if maybe... you know the three of us.. or even me alone, could go visit Grams house?"

We all suddenly hear vicious growls and grunts coming from the boys. It's truly a good thing that they remain inaudible to Renessme due to the limited human hearing frequency.

She tugs her hair behind her ear, "We haven't seen them in a while, and they never visit. I really miss them."

I nod my head, "How about we make a trip out of it? Maybe over the weekend, love? That way the boys could join in as well."

She bites her lips together, "Well, The Twins got invited to a party over the weekend, so they'll be busy with that. And Cee, has to finish a group project, so won't be available. Atty has to meet his partner, Willow, for completion for his Psychology class. And Ty would be busy with his Football practice this weekend, the games start next month. So, I don't reckon they'd make it. But I'm free, and the three of us could go?"

Hearing this causes me to shift uncomfortably in my seat, because all I hear in my head is yelling from the five Princes.

All the threats could probably subsumed into, "You agree to her demands, and you'll be in deep shit."

Taking a deep breath in, "How about we still ask the boys? It's the polite thing to do? If they can't make it, we three will head to my parents house." And I mumble to my self, "We three haven't had an alone family time since the day you were born. Thanks to the Princes."
