PoV- Attrius

Esme had just stepped out of the door, to head to the washroom downstairs, I can clearly hear her humming to some random tune, currently climbing down the staircase.

But I'm interrupted when Mason clicks his fingers before my eyes to get my attention, "Where's your mind at?"

I merely just shrug my shoulder, since my mind is still trying to hear where she's at. Once I know she's out of my range, I observe Mason who looked bothered about something.

Resting my head on Renessme's backpack, "What's bothering you?"

He rubs his right arm with his left hand, "There is this new 'friend' in the picture now."

Groaning, was Brandon, Jacobson and Jayden not enough?, defeated, "You've gotta be kidding me man, who is this guy?"

Suddenly he pokes my chest, "The jerk that you approved, Hendrix Langster"

Trying to think back at all the requests I had approved to this Island last month, then it finally clicks me, "Darn! It was only because your twin claimed that this dude, Hendrix has the potential become the next warrior head for his clan, condition is if he's trained properly. This mutt happens to be the best choice since he's a product of Royal and Alpha blood combined." I snap at him.

Dismissive of my tone, "Well, that mutt sure is a warrior who seems to be in the fighting for her heart now." He barks down at me.

I notice how everyone at the gym had stopped with the practice, and were silently listening in on our conversation, which only annoyed me further. Giving them a bitter look, and waving them all out they unwillingly disperse.

Turning my head back at Mason, "Es pays no heed to guys whatsoever." I say trying to sound a lot more optimistic about this than I was feeling.

"Soon enough she would" he mutters under his breath, I knew it wasn't meant for my ears.

Suddenly we both hear message beeps from a cellphone, making us both pat out pocket to find out phone, and switching it on to know it wasn't us who got the message. Soon another beep was heard, slipping my hand into Esme bags I now hold her phone with its light flashing.

Mason smirks, "I thought we teenagers couldn't survive without our precious phone, and our little one leaves her's at every darn place."

My brothers eyes stay firm at the phone on my hand, "Umm.... if we were to check her phone, it'll probably classify as invasion to her privacy?"

Clearing my throat, fiddling with her phone that laid in my hand, "That would be correct."

Not looking my way, swatting away the invisible dirt on his trouser, "So who is texting her?"

Without a second thought, I type in her password, "Wait let me see."

After reading through all the recent text messages, I calm down, "Just Titus and Jason being their usual self, while former claims that he misses her, the latter is asking of her whereabouts."
