"God, you're pathetic." El wiped the blood off of her upper lip. "Get up." Rumlow's voice reverberated through the training room. Eleven was tired, and overworked. She needed to stop. "Please," she whispered softly.

Rumlow cocked an eyebrow at the girl. "You think you're gonna get a break when you're out in the field? Get your lazy a** up, and do it again." Eleven held in the hot tears stinging her eyes, and did her best to swallow down the lump in her throat.

Rumlow rolled his eyes at the action when Pierce stepped into the room. "Get up," the older man repeated. Eleven pushed herself off of the ground turning to him. Pierce shook his head. "You're weak. You're supposed to be stronger than this."

"I'm... sorry." A harsh smack echoed through the room as Pierce brought his hand down on Eleven's cheek. "You should be. Now... do it again."

El launched forward finding she was no longer in that horrible place. She made it out. El didn't like that Bucky wasn't with her. When she had nightmares, he was the one there to calm her down, and now, she had to do it herself.

How could she calm down though? After everything that happened? She needed to talk to Bucky.

"Hey, Cap!" Steve jogged over to Sam who had been previously watching Bucky. The Winter Soldier smiled when his ex-best friend stepped up to him. "Steve." The Captain kept his face stern, "Which Bucky am I talk to?"

"Your mom's name was Sarah." Bucky chuckled reminiscing the forties, "You used to wear newspapers in your shoes." Bucky's mind proceeded to wander, all the way up to the twelve year old
ex-hydra agent he had adopted.

"Where's El?" Sam nodded his head to the other room, "Shes asleep. What's up with that girl back there? How do you know her?" Bucky still held the smile thinking of the small amount of good memories. "She was a hydra experiment. She ran when Steve took it down, I found her trying to rob a local cafe."

"Then what?" Sam, and Steve were genuinely concerned for the small girl. "Then, I paid for the food, and took her home. She's my family."

Steve grinned to which Sam cocked an eyebrow in reply, "And just like that, we're supposed to be cool?" Bucky looked down, "What did I do?"

"Enough." Bucky tried his best to swallow down the guilt creeping up his throat. "Oh, god, I knew this would happen. Everything that Hydra put in me is still there. El tried to get it out, but it wouldn't work. All he had to do was say the god damn words."

"Who was he?" Steve questioned. "I don't know."

"People are dead. The bombing, the setup, the Doctor did all that just to get ten minutes with you. I need you to do better than I don't know." Bucky narrowed his eyes trying to remember the moments with the doctor before he was triggered. "He wanted to know about Siberia. Where I was kept. He wanted to know exactly where."

"Why would he need to know that?" Steve inquired.

"Cause I'm not the only Winter Soldier." Bucky told the two of everything that happened starting with stealing the serums, and ending with the other soldiers.

"Who were they?" Bucky's cerulean orbs fixated on Steve across the room. "The most elite death squad. More kills than anyone in hydra history, and that was before the serum." Sam decided to pipe up asking the question that had been plaguing his thoughts. "Were they all like you?"

"Worse."

"The Doctor. Could he control them?" Bucky turned his attention back to the ground. "Enough."

"He said he wanted to see an empire fall."

"With these guys, he could do it. They speak thirty languages, can hide in plain sight, infiltrate, assassinate, destabilize, they can take a whole country down in one night, and you'd never see 'em coming."

Sam stepped over to Steve, "This would've been a lot easier a week ago." Steve huffed, "If we call Tony-"

"Nah, he won't believe us."

"Even if he did..."

"Who knows if the accords would let him help."

"We're on our own." Sam shrugged, "Maybe not. I know a guy." Before Steve could reply, El stepped in the room, tears stained her cheeks. "Bucky?"

Stupid Rumlow. Am I the only that absolutely hated him?
