"Don't you want to feel it? I am sure you would have thought of something when we... erm, got married?"
A humourless chuckle escaped her lips. "I would be lying if I said no," she said. "At this point, I don't think that I would fall in love. But to let you know, I expect only respect and trust from your side because it is the foundation of building a strong relationship."
"Fair enough," Vihaan murmured in a slow voice.
"Wh-What about you?" she softly asked, her toes drawing small patterns on the cool sand.
"What about me?"
"D-Do you believe in love?"
"I have been there once." Akanksha could feel the bitterness in his guttural voice, "That's why I don't believe in it anymore."
