second off, is something i really want address i think we all know what's currently going on in the world it's very overwhelming, especially if you're fairly young like me (i'm 16). i know it's a lot, but i want to encourage everyone to take a step further into these issues. because this is about humanity. it's a fight we're all involved in.
i moved to the US just over two years ago from Hong Kong. i was (and still kinda am) very naive when it comes to systematic racism or any other political issue surrounding the US government.
i understand those who feel like they don't know enough to speak up about an ongoing issue. i want to tell you that it's okay. because this is when you start educating yourself about it. learn the facts, understand where opinions originate, ask questions. just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not happening.
