Review:
I stop reading after 1 arc, the story is a bit boring. Too much narration plus headache when reading in MTL. There's no system or goal. MC keep transmigrate after she died. The story is like flat without conflict, adding to the style which narrate the whole plot.
1st arc, MC is eldest granddaughter of duke Qi. Her father is the eldest son, her aunt is current empress. In the story she will become queen, the king is fifth prince who got adopted by MC aunt (the queen) because the queen son died early. OMC live as queen but is not favored, the king equally love the harem. OMC lost her children due to her cousin who become king concubine and need to adopt a son as crown prince.
MC save the queen son aka her cousin, the third prince. The third prince become crown prince. I knew the third prince is not ML since he's not handsome enough. MC got close to third prince as relative. MC cousin (who become concubine on last life) try to get close to MC because she want to meet the third prince. MC reject her, MC father also beat the cousin father. The family situation is duke Qi has 3 sons and 1 daugther (the queen). MC father is the eldest and di son, the other 2 is concubine son. Duke Qi love the third son mother, concubine wu. The duke spoil her heavily and neglect his di children and wife. The concubine wu actually a bit stupid, she always got fooled by her daughter in law to give out her money. MC father didn't have concubine, at early marriage he didn't have son and the duke asked him to adopt the third branch child since they have 6 sons, but MC father refused.
MC didn't care much about her third uncle family. She play every day, practice martial arts and read a book. Several years later, the king abdicate early, MC cousin become king. Former king and queen live in palace outside without concubines. Then the former queen visit MC mother and mother, because family from former emperor the Zhou. Current king surname is Song, not sure what's the relation with Zhou but it was said former king family. Zhou Liulang is 22 yo and never touch woman, he has poisonous mouth and offend a lot of people. He beg the former queen to be matchmaker so he could marry MC. MC father and mother saw ML sincere and finally agree. MC didn't think much because ML met her criteria, handsome, has talent, didn't restrict her. ML got engaged with MC but soon the duke qi died and MC need to mourn for 1 year. MC cousin from 3rd branch also missed her prime time and can't participate in draft to become king concubine. She finally marry the fifth prince. MC marry ML in a year and live happily.
