found this novel from wattpad recommendation list then I found Mobo Reader, app like Webnovel, place to read a bunch of novel with coins. For first timer I got free unlimited reading for a day, so I ditch my work and binge reading this novel. I got addicted reading this novel and since I saw many unknown titles in Mobo Reader, unconsciously I press subscribe for a month that cost me $18. I hope there's a lot novel that worth reading here. I just skimmed the synopsis of top novel it look decent but when I open first chapter all the name become western while the family name still in Chinese e.g Edward Fu... That's really make me down, I hope I can put up with it (In the end, I can only read 3-4 novel before giving up).

In her past life when Huajing held her hairpin ceremony, there's rain and they said that Huajing bring luck. This time Yun Shang went to temple with Master Wu Na, her grandfather's friend. When she come back, she said to the Emperor that there'll be rain on certain date and they shouldn't held grand events so Huajing ceremony become simpler. After that Yun Shang got sick and went to Wu Na's temple to recuperate. She met her grandfather and learn everything from him.

7 years later she come back for her hairpin ceremony, at this time Huajing already married and her husband went to border. Yun Shang help her mother to meet the Emperor. Actually the Emperor still love Concubine Jin since she's his childhood lover and in the past he want her as his empress, but because of Li Clan, the current Empress family, he make her a concubine. Concubine Jin got disappointed and retreat to cold palace. The Empress and Huajing keep trying to slander and kill her but keep failing instead the Emperor lost his trust in Empress and Huajing lost her reputation. Yun Shang met Luo Qingyan, Prince Jing, he's the adopted son of the late emperor, that's mean Yun Shang's uncle. He's 13 years older than Yun Shang (so pedophile XD). Prince Jing was known as war god, he's handsome etc like other perfect ML. Yun Shang kidnapped Huajing's husband, Huajing's mother in law rush to the front line trying to search her son. Huajing was forced by Empress to chase her mother in law to get a good reputation. Yun Shang got news that her mother is pregnant, she tried to concealed it but the Empress got news of it. The Emperor is in joy and let Concubine Jin choose her palace, Concubine Jin choose to live with the Empress so if anything happen to her it will be the Empress fault.

After make sure that her mother is save, Yun Shang went to the border. She got news that the enemy, Prince Qinshu of Yelang make Princess Hui Guo (Yun Shang title) as hostage. Yun Shang met Prince Jing at border under disguise as man. She live in Prince Jing's tent, they began got close. Hua Jing got sexual relationship with Prince Qinshu. Soon Huajing came to the camp under pretense searching her husband. She want to steal the strategy map. Prince Jing got into the enemies trap, Yun Shang save him. Huajing's mother in law come, she found her son and refuse to come back to the Capital. She didn't recognize Huajing as her daughter in law. Prince Qinshu thought Huajing as Princess Hui Guo and send a marriage propose to the Emperor saying that he already defiled the princess. Prince Jing intercepted and change the name to Huajing.

They all went back to the Capital. Prince Jing propose to marry Yun Shang, he promised the Emperor to give his military token when he marry Yun Shang. The Emperor give his decree the next day without Yun Shang acknowledge. Yun Shang got angry with Prince Jing and ask him why he want to marry her. Prince Jing said that he want to become the emperor but since the emperor afraid of him, he was sent to the border and can't stay in Capital for long. If he marry Yun Shang, then he can stay in Capital without getting suspected. Actually they both already have feeling for each other but still in denial. Yun Shang agree and got engaged.

A lot of scheme in the palace, at the end Prince Jing found out that he's actually a legit crown prince from Xia. He didn't acknowledge his family from Xia. Then they found that Li Clan is a spy from Xia. After Concubine Jin give birth to a son in Liefeng City. Li Clan and the Empress close the Capital and placed many guards. They want to rebel and take control of Ning. The Emperor stayed in Liefeng while Prince Jing and Yun Shang went back to the Capital to take care the rebel. Yun Shang went to The Empress and said that Huajing already dead. At last chapter the Empress said that she will kill Yun Shang's brother before she die and Yun Shang said that she lied about Huajing's death, at first she want to spare her but she changed her mind.
