Summary:

Review:
Based on the summary I expect a lot of faceslap scheming revenge etc. For the first part there're some but once MC is favored the story turns to a warm family love... I like the first part story before ML leaving MC country, after that seems like a lot of unimportant filler narration of MC idle life. 2/3 book is their childhood while the other 1/3 is filler and ending.
MC is unfavored 5th princess because her older brother the 6th prince is idiot, the emperor didn't like MC mother. Turns out 2 other concubine drugged MC mother during pregnancy to make MC mother fall out of favor. MC scheme to retaliate the 2 concubine. MC got backed by other princes and princess, just like MC said all NPC loves her. The enemies got defeated in 1 hit KO, not much scheme or faceslap after that.
MC got close to ML who is a prince hostage. ML prepared to go back to his country and take the throne so he can marry MC. ML is a gentle and always smiling in front of MC, then when he went back to take the throne he killed all his brother and father, killed beauties offered to him. He prepared soldiers to the border, MC country thought he'll start war because during his hostage they didn't treat him good but instead ML proposed marriage to MC. MC accept and become his queen.
The filler story is about eldest prince and the crown prince. I'm not sure on the translation at early chapter it was said the throne will be passed to eldest instead of empress son. So it should be the eldest prince. But after that it seems like the eldest prince mother aka concubine trying to make him as crown prince. The eldest prince is a gentle person and didn't want to fight for the throne. He got depressed due to a lot of people died when empress scheme to make his faction lose. The eldest prince commit suicide, his mother wake up and let go her ambition. Her family went out of capital and the eldest prince went to a trip with MC. He then met a jianghu woman, he marry her then the crown prince who become emperor give him a fief near the woman sect.
MC learnt martial arts after her marriage, forced ML master to teach her. ML always indulge her, he is a possessive ML but spoiled MC a lot. They have 3 children, a boy and twin girl. ML abdicate early then make MC dream comes true, roaming become a hero fighting injustice.
