Summary:
Dong Jiahui, the daughter of the Dong family, was kicked out of the house by the Lu family because she had been married for three years and was unable to get pregnant. Dong Jiahui, who felt ashamed, jumped into the river in search of death. Immediately after she was rescued, her soul also changed.

The Dong family’s Jiahui was five miles away from the Shanghe Village. Zhao Donglin’s wife was an educated youth who left her two children to go back to the city. In order to take care of the children, Zhao Donglin, who was about to become a battalion commander, retired to the countryside.

For the six-month-old girl, Yingbao, Zhao Donglin wants to give his two children a stepmother. He refused the introduction of 17 or 18 people who were matched with him and finally chose the infertile Dong Jiahui. Zhao Donglin thought that since Dong Jiahui couldn’t have a baby, she would certainly treat Heidan and Yingbao as her own child.

He inquired and found out that Dong Jiahui was a woman with a submissive personality, and such a woman leads a stable life. As long as she treats the children well, he will treat her well for the rest of his life.

On the wedding night, Dong Jiahui finally discovered the secret of the original owner’s infertility. It turned out that she was still a v*rgin!

Review:
It is a good reading, it is like other 70s novel, not unique. It started slow then speed up in the middle. MC and ML is like other protagonist, a bit OP but I think they are a bit bland. ML always followed MC, MC is like other transmigration, having a perfect skill to survive in 70s. Good cooking, good sewing, good student, good in business too.
MC transmigrate after OMC try to drown herself. MC didn't have complete memory of OMC, she knows who is who but didn't know OMC past. OMC was divorced because she cannot have a child for 3 years. Her family doted on OMC, they welcome her back. MC starts sewing and earning money, she also cook and take care her niece and nephew so her other sis in laws never said bad thing.
ML just divorced his wife because the wife want to go back to city. He has a son and a daughter. He resign from army and went back to village. He work as secretary commune. His mother ask him to remarry. ML saw MC in the county when she was bullied by her ex-husband and ex-husband current wife. ML got a good impression, he then trying to meet MC again. He decide to marry her. Then when it's their first wedding night, they both realize that MC is still a virgin. MC said that her ex-husband cannot have sex.
MC get along with ML family members except for second sis in law. I think it is a bit on purpose so there will be conflict. MC is kind to the other family member but differentiate the second family.
In the end ML separate from second family because of second sis in law. Then soon, his brother divorce his wife (then why separate... So much fuss).
MC gave birth to a son then the college resume. MC said she want to go to college with ML and her sis in law (ML youngest sister). All of them got accepted. The second brother regret because he didn't try. He also got accepted the next year so all of them are moving to county. Only ML father stayed in village, it said he is not used to moving and will send money support but in the end there's no explanation what he do when his wife always followed MC and ML to take care their children.
In the end all ML family moved to county and have a good life.
