Review:
I've read this novel twice, it is a good novel. The plot is usual but I never get bored. At least in this novel, not all characters will suddenly turn from good to bad.
MC is transmigrate to a cannon fodder in novel. She should be the real Hou's daughter but because OFL is rebirth, she was abused by OFL's parent. MC fled and met ML. ML is the third son of Duan Wang which stationed on the border. His father prefer his concubine and his eldest son which is illegitimate son. Before ML is born, Duan Wang thought his wife won't have any son so he made the eldest son as heir, then the wife got pregnant with ML. ML was suppressed by his father so he won't grabbed the title and fight with his big brother. ML is on the way to capital when he met MC, he was hunted by his big brother.
MC part ways with ML near the capital. MC was recognized by the empress as her niece. MC's mother is the empress's sister. The empress realize that MC is abused and swapped intentionally by OFL's family. The empress backed MC so OFL could only become the second household's adopted daughter (MC's cousin). MC has older brother and younger brother. The title should be belong to MC's father but he died in exile and the grandfather also died early, the second son (MC's uncle) asked the title since MC's brother is too young. MC's brother was suppressed because the uncle is afraid he will take back the title. MC and her brothers plan to separate with second household. MC and ML scheme their way so their enemies didn't know that they already fell to MC and ML's trap.
In the end OFL was passed to Yu Wang (emperor's brother) because she was pregnant with the heir's child, but soon she was captured and killed because Yu Wang rebelled and failed. OML was prisoned in his residence, later he remembered his past life and deemed as crazy.
