Review:
This story is good, a bit too peaceful but it's still a good story. MC and ML are a bit OP, both of them are bossy type so all the conflicts resolved without their direct involvement. OML and OFL are easily lost and died, I couldn't feel the climax. The good part laid with MC and ML interaction. They are both used to being alone and slowly they like each other.
MC transmigrated to ancient China from childhood. She made money and control her family finance. Her parent died early, leaving her and the brothers. There are 4 brothers, the oldest Ji Mingxi, he like Buddhism but stay in court for his family sake, the 2nd is Ji Minghao, a general on the border, 5th is Ji Mingyuan who didn't like getting close to people and learn how to hide in a sect, 6th is Ji Mingyan  works in Dali something like the police because he is an expert in poison, 7th is Ji Mingshuang who become the champion in literature exam.
MC got engaged with an ordinary noble son, but her fiancee break their engagement. Then MC dreamt that she is in a novel, her family will die one by one. The reason of MC fiancee breaking engagement is because of OML. MC family is with the crown prince side. MC fiancee plan to break the engagement before the draft for emperor. MC will enter the palace and compete with the queen. That way the crown prince side will lose MC family as support. MC hook up with ML to prevent it. ML is an ordinary man who just come to capital. He pretend as shy person but MC knew he is good at martial arts because they met when they were child and got abducted. ML killed the kidnappers and save MC. MC also knew he is short on money so MC offered a lot of money to get them engage.
MC and ML keep plotting to avoid OML scheme. In the end OML and OFL died. The emperor who support OML secretly got furious and tried to kill MC family and ML. MC found out that her parent is also killed by the emperor. ML plan to kill the emperor with the empress help. The emperor died and crown prince become the emperor. When the empress distracted the emperor, she said that the crown prince is a maid child because the emperor killed their own child.
MC and ML have a daughter. The rest is like extra story.
