Chapter 9 - Rock vs Samon

Yamato: "Number 69, I've come to take you and 99 to building 5."

Rock: "Alright, let's go!"

Jinx: "Why are you going to building 5?"

Rock: "It's a big training day over there and Tsukumo and I are gonna join in."

Jinx: "Can I come?!"

Rock: "Uhm, I don't know..."

Jinx: "Pleeease! I promise I won't get hurt!"

Yamato: "I think that's an excellent idea! Though I'll have to tell the supervisor."

Uno: "Don't worry yourself, Yamato. We'll tell him if he comes around."

Nico: "Yeah! Be safe, okay, Jinx?"

I smiled.

Jinx: "I will!"

Tsukumo: "I didn't know you had an interest in training, Jinx."

Jinx: "Mhm! Liang's been teaching me some self defence."

At Building 5...

Liang: "Hey, you brought Jinx too."

Rock: "She was quite insistent. I've been meaning to ask, how'd her training go the other day?"

Liang: "You'd be surprised at how strong this little one is."

Jinx: "Liang! Can I show them the other thing you and Samon taught me?!"

Liang: "Sure. Hey, Upa, c'mere!"

Upa: "What is it?"

Liang: "Help Jinx with the thing."

Upa: "Fine, but quickly."

Rock: "What's he doing?"

Liang: "He's gonna try and punch her, but don't worry. She knows what to do."

Upa: "You ready?"

I got into stance and nodded with confidence. He sent a fist towards me at medium speed. I grabbed his arm, turned my back to him, and with all my strength, threw him directly over my shoulder. He landed on his back with a thud. Rock, Tsukumo and Yamato's jaws dropped, and I smiled up at them.

Jinx: "Ta da!"

Liang: "Nice job, Jinx! Look at you go, you're getting stronger by the day."

Jinx: "Mhm!"

Rock: "That was... awesome!"

He lifted me up, smiling proudly.

Rock: "My little sister is so strong!"

I laughed.

Samon: "Hey, number 58, get over here!"

Upa: "Kay!"

He stood up and walked over to Samon.

Liang: "Anyway, let's get started."

Tsukumo: "I'm gonna train over there with Yamato for a while. I'll join you guys later."

Liang: "Sure."

Rock, Liang and I started jogging around a track. I turned my head to see Samon taking the thing off Upa's head and replacing it.

Samon: "There you go. Don't take it off, number 58."
