Chapter 32 - Back from Level 5

Suddenly, the whole place felt like it was shaking. We heard a rumbling sound coming from down the corridor.

Uno: "Wh-what the hell?!"

Jinx: "If I drown because of this damn rope, I'll haunt you for life, pinkie!"

Honey: "I don't think it's water this time."

Suddenly, Hajime and Samon came racing past the cell.

Samon: "ASSHOLE! YOU JUST STEPPED ON MY FOOT, DIDN'T YOU?!!"

Hajime: "HAAH?! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO GOT YOUR FOOT CAUGHT ON MINE!!"

Samon: "YOU WERE THE ONE WHO STARTED IT!!"

Hajime: "IT WAS YOU, YOU SHITTY MONKEY!!"

Youriki, Kokoriki & Rokuriki: "S-Supervisor!!"

They both stopped. Samon turned.

Samon: "Huh?"

Rokuriki: "Uhm... Supervisor, just how did you... uh..."

Samon glanced at us in the cell. I giggled as Uno pulled a face at him.

Kokoriki: "There was some stuff with those inmates... Hey! Cut that out, number 11!!"

Rokuriki: "Uhm... Supervisor Mitsuba told us..."

Youriki: "Uh... in other words, this is..."

He looked back to the three of them. They flinched before bowing.

Youriki, Kokoriki & Rokuriki: "PLEASE ESCUSE US!!"

Youriki: "We're truly sorry for acting on our own without your orders!!"

Rokuriki: "In no way would we ever disobey your command!!"

Kokoriki: "We'll do whatever you think is best for this time..."

There was silence for a minute.

Samon: "...I'm leaving this place to you guys. You can do it, right?"

They straitened up.

Youriki, Kokoriki & Rokuriki: "YES SIR!"

Hajime noticed Uno, Nico and I in the cell and smiled before running after Samon.

Uno: "Hey, damnit!! At least say something!!"

Hajime: "I'll kill you if you get out!!"

Uno: "YOU SURE DON'T HOLD BACK, DO YOU?!! Geez, he's the same as ever."

Jinx: "Pretty sure that was karma from laughing at him earlier..."

Nico: "Hey, look, it's Jyugo."

Jinx & Uno: "OH MY GOOOOD!!"

Jyugo was lying on the floor looking exhausted.

Jyugo: "*wheeze*...Are you......*wheeze*... *pant pant*...al... *gasp gasp pant*... al... right... *wheeze*..."

Jinx & Uno: "WE SHOULD BE ASKING YOU THAT!!"

He was completely out of it from running after Samon and Hajime from the fifth floor up to the first in a single stretch. He eventually stood up and stumbled over to us.

Jyugo: "Actually, why are you guys back in a cell?"

Jinx: "It's a long story. Shot version, zombie dolls surrounded us so the pheasant and the three stooges over there threw us in here."

Jyugo: "Kay... Why are you tied up?"

Jinx: "Ask pinkie over there."

He whispered.

Jyugo: "Want me to get you out?"

I nodded. He knelt down and broke the rope tying me to the bars and I slipped through and hugged him tight.

Jinx: "I'm so glad you're safe."

He smiled and hugged me back.

Nico: "Long time to see, Jyugo."

Jyugo: "Nico, is your health, okay?"

Nico: "Mhm, I'm all good now."

Kokoriki: "Haah?! How did number 33 get out again!!"

Uno: "Ah! Crap, he found us!"

Uno pulled me back in.

Jyugo: "Uno."

Uno: "Hm?"

Jyugo: "I'm going out for a bit. I kind of... have something I want to check out."

Uno: "Oh yeah? That's rare, hearing you say that about something other than killing time. Heh, just don't get caught."

Nico: "You look kind of fired up today, Jyugo."

Jinx: "Did something happen?"

He smiled brightly.

Jyugo: "Yeah! It's probably because things got kind of easier for me. Well, I'm off."

He ran after Hajime and Samon, towards the surface.

Nico: "He kind of changed again, huh?"

Uno: "Heh, he's as impossible to read as ever."

Nico: "But it felt kind of nostalgic."

Uno: "Ah, you thought so too?"

I smiled.

Jinx: "He looked happy, and hopeful."
