Chapter 34

Rest of the day I have nothing to do. I didn't go anywhere for almost a week. I want to meet Axel but I can't. I can call him. But I can't find my phone. Maybe Xavier has my phone. I sigh and sit on the cold floor.

The door of my room opens revealing Dylan. He looks at me nervously. I roll my eyes.

"What brings you here after a week?"  Well, I am rude. I can't help it.

He just sighs and sits beside me on the floor. Now he is going to give me an excuse.

"Sorry I was just carried away by the incident." He said.

"Ah Don't worry. Don't apologize. Same old story." I said.

"Bella." He said in disbelief.

After that no one said anything. After a while, Ace enters my room. I smile at him. Ace gives me a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Come on. I asked dad to take you out." He gave me his bright smile.

"Oh my god. really." I stand up and hug my twin brother.

"Thanks," I said pulling out.

"Take care of yourself," Dylan said kissing me on the forehead.

"Aren't you coming?" I ask.

"I need to talk to Aiden." He gave me small smile.

I took my bag and drag Ace with me. In the living room, I met mom. After giving me quick hug and checking in me she let us go.

Ace drive towards the beach as I told him. I hope I can find Axel and talk to him. We purchased two ice creams and then made our way towards a comfortable place. Ace sat beside me on the sand. I feel good. Nice and peaceful. I finished my ice cream while Ace did his.

"Finally I found you. Why are you ignoring me?" Axel said glaring at me. I roll my eyes.

Standing up I hug him. Axel wraps his arms around me and places a kiss on my forehead.

"I was worried." He said softly.

I pull out and grin at him.

"Sorry I wasn't allowed to go out by myself," I said rolling my eyes.

"what. why?" He asks in disbelief.

"Oh it's nothing, maybe I got in trouble," I said not wanting to tell him that I was probably dying.

"Who is he, Bella?" Ace asks me glancing at Axel.

Axel noticed him and look at him in suspicion. I wrap my hands around both of their arms and give them bright smiles.

"Ace meets Axel, my bestie," I said looking at Ace.

"And Axel meets him, my lovely twin brother," I said looking at Axel.

Axel's eyes widen. He gives small smile to Ace. Ace sigh and offer his hands. They both shook their hands and smile at each other.

"My honor to meet twin of my bestie. Nice to meet you." Axel said.

"Nice to meet you too. Axel." Ace said.

"Bella, you didn't even pick up my calls," Axel ask me with a frown.

"I don't have my phone. Maybe my brother took it." I replied.

Axel nods. Then he sighs.

"I did some research and I found out about a man who might have information about the kidnapping," Axel said in a serious tone.

Wah, I didn't meet him for a long time and he already found something. Well good for us.

"Wait a minute. You guys are trying to find those people." Ace asks us. I smiled at him.

"Sorry, brother but I have to," I said with a small smile.

"That is dangerous." Ace said with disbelief.

"Don't worry she is safe with me," Axel said with a serious tone.

"But still. Bella keeps yourself safe. Don't go out without me." Ace said trying to smile but he failed.

Did I make him sad? of course I did. May me he thinks I don't trust him. I wrap my arm around his shoulders trying to comfort him but ace looks down. I will apologize later. I look at Axel.

"What did you find out?" I ask him.

"I might know who is behind the kidnapping," Axel replied. I nod.

"Who?" I ask.

Axel sighed. Even though he doesn't show much emotion I know he is sad. What made him sad?

"Axel?" I questioned.

I know it's someone from my family but I don't know who exactly is behind it. It's simple logic not a single outsider can harm us. So it must be someone from my family. Well, why didn't I think about it before? Yeah, I was lost in my pitiful life.

Stupid me.

"As per the information I got and a little bit of evidence that I took without permission it points towards Knights," Axel said with a low whisper.

Okay, I already know. I look at Ace who doesn't even show surprise on in the face. He might have thought the same. Maybe he already suspected.

"Knight." Ace mumbled.

Yeah, right brother. Ace knight, Bellatrix knight, and our family. Our dumbass family. Well, I forgot to tell Axel about my last name. He didn't tell me his either.

Well, now Axel also knows about the people who might be behind this.

We were lost in our thoughts until we noticed someone walking towards us. When he was at enough distance from us he smirked. Ace and Axel tense up. Huh? I relaxed my shoulders it's not time for anxiety.

"Who are you?" Axel demanded.

"Well, that doesn't matter but look you guys have a nice family reunion." He said with a bored tone.

"What do you mean?" Ace asked.

Yeah, like what the heck is his problem.

"I can get a huge amount of money by selling knights." He said.

Holy shit. So he is here for Ace and me. Fuck him.

Before I can give him my sassy comeback my vision blurred. I grab my head and fall to the ground.

And then I passed out.

Well, I am in trouble.

Again.
