Bartholomew's pov:

So my little daughter is collaborating with the enemy. What did she think? That I wouldn't be aware of her activities? I trusted her by giving everything to her and she betrayed me. Jordan was right. Elektra was the spitting image of her mother in every aspect. She is a traitor like her.

I was watching the pack house all night when I saw Alexander accompanied by two guards heading to my office. I expected Elektra to imprison him or cast him away from the pack but she did neither.

Alexander stayed forty five minutes in my office and then walked away just like that. Why did she leave him go away? She knows that he is the cause for my imprisonment and run out. One is the reason: my daughter is a traitor. But she is going to find soon what happens to those who betray me. First I have to pay a visit to the mountains and speak with the elders. They are too old to know about my imprisonment and my prison break. I need to find out where the holy sword is. I took the path to their mountain. The path was hidden and not easily seen but I knew the mountains like the palm of my hand.

It was a two hour climb at a fast pace. The sun was rising when I arrived at the small village. The village was built on a plateau at the top of the mountain. The houses were few and small. I headed to the chief's house and knocked on the door. After several minutes and while I was hearing sounds from inside that indicated that he was already up, the door opened and a short and thin old man appeared.

-"How can I help you, son?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

-"I need your advice and enlightenment in some matters" I said in a timid way. I had to act like someone lost. The elders although very old were very clever. They couldn't be easily fooled.

-"Please come in" said the old man unaware of my real identity. He pulled a chair and said: "Sit here. Would you like a cup of herbal tea?"

-"No, I am ok! It's urgent to speak to you" I insisted.

-"Don't be in a hurry. We have a lot of time, I'm not going anywhere" he said and with slow movements he put the pot on the fire to prepare the tea. He had put the herbal essences and was stirring the pot when he addressed me without bothering to turn around: "Don't stand like that. Begin"

-"My name is Ben and I was sent from the current Alpha of the Black Shadow pack. She wants your advice on something very important"

-"She or you?" the man asked continuing stirring the pot.

-"I don't understand" I said taking an innocent face grimace.

-"I know who you are Bartholomew and I imagine the purpose of your visit"

-"Which is old man?" I asked him calm and composed. I am not one of those people who lost easily their temper.

-"This is of little importance. Our goddess led you here even if your purpose was other...." the man said while he poured the hot water in the cups. He then put some cookies on a plate and served the tea cups with a jar of honey. He slowly sat down and poured some honey to his cup.

-"You want some?" he asked showing me the honey.

-"No" I said irritated. I was getting tired of his games.

-"Since you came here I feel compelled to tell you some truths"

-"I don't care about your truths old man. Just tell me where the holy sword is hidden..." I demanded.

-"When I finish with what I have to say you will learn about the sword" the elder said calmly.

My nails elongated and I started to shift in my wolf form.
