MARIA DANA'S POV

"And now, let's welcome our candidate from the Department of BS in Psychology, Ms. Maria Dana Dela Vega!"

Ang lakas ng hiyawan ng mga tao lalo na ng mga kaklase ko.

The musical instrument started to play.

You Changed Me

The first time we met,
You're so cold,
I'm too shy to approach you,
And suddenly you saw me looking at you.

I remember those times,
Those times that you just ignored me,
It is just normal for me,
Since you just got moved in.

I knew you had a girlfriend,
And think that it doesn't bother me,
Until we became a partner,
And my silent life changed everything.

We're like cats and dogs,
Annoyed with each other,
But, there's a weird feeling that made me nervous,
Nervous that I know to myself that I am in danger.

Dangerously falling in love with you,
But, somewhat you catch me before I fall,
It hurts to catch by you,
Because I know, I know I will deeply love you.

As time goes by,
Different things happen,
Happenings that I will never forget,
My love, I can't forget you,
You are the only one I only love.

By your words,
By your promises,
I trust you,
But, sometimes it causes me a pain by you.

I wish, I wish someday,
God will find us way,
Way to forever,
Forever that will make us happy until the end.

Dumagundong ang hiyawan ng mga tao sa gym. It seems they are relate.

"Woahhh... It hurts so bad Ms. Dela Vega. Did you experience that kind of heartache Ms. Dela Vega?" Emcee ask and just let out a soft laugh. I just gave a soft smile. "Anyways, Thank you for your wonderful performance!" The emcee said and I smiled and bow and turn back to the backstage. I saw him from far away before I went backstage. I know. I know he heard it.

Kalma akong napahinga ng pagdating ko ng backstage. I did it! I survived it! I admit that my poetry hurt me as well. Well, it is my experience afterall.

Limang contestant pa ang nagperform at magaganda din ang kanilang mga tula.

"Everyone! Who is your bet?!" Tanong ng emcee sa mga tao. Napangiti ako dahil kung makasigaw ang mga kaklase ko eh para bang bigatin yung contest.

Mayroon ring mga consulation price sa mga kasali.

Tinawang na ang ika- top 3 na nanalo. At Engineering Department ang nanalo.

"Okay. The second place goes to... Department of Psychology!" Lumapit na ako sa unahan at inabot na sa akin ang premyo ko.

Okay lang basta naipakita ko sa kaklase ko na kinaya ko.

"Congrats Dana! Sabi sa'yo mananalo ka." Masaya niyang sabi.

"2nd place lang naman ako."

"Kahit na... Alam naman naming kaya mo!"

"Congratulations Dana! Pa-meryenda ka naman dyan." Sabi ng isa kong kaklase. Umiling na lang ako at natawa ng mahina dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Oh guys... I'm sorry I can't make it today. I have some agenda's. See yah tomorrow." Paalam ko sa kanila. Wala na silang nagawa kung hindi hayaan na lang ako.
