Turquoise was saying his goodbyes to the crystal gems and was about to warp away back to the barn when Steven suddenly called his name
"Turquoise!" Steven yells
"Hmm?" Turquoise turns around and looks down at Steven "Yes what is it?"
"Can you bring Lapis around tomorrow?" Steven asks
"May I ask why?" Turquoise kneels on the warp pad, putting his hand on his lap
"I have a surprise for her at the pier!" Steven says excitedly
"A surprise? How interesting, " Turquoise thinks
Turquoise takes a moment to think
"I will see it done," Turquoise gives Steven a reassuring nod
"See you tomorrow!" Steven waves
"As will I," Turquoise waves back, warping away
Turquoise thinks about what Steven could possibly have gotten Lapis as a surprise as he walks to the barn
"Lapis, Peridot, I've returned!" Turquoise calls out, putting his coat and scarves on a wooden crate
Turquoise looks up to see Peridot and Lapis watching Camp Pining Hearts in the truck
"Hey, I said don't watch any without me!" Turquoise yells up to them
"Turquoise your back!"
Lapis flies down to Turquoise, and Peridot floats on a bin lid behind her
"Sorry I took longer than I expected," Turquoise kneels to hug Peridot
"It's fine. You're back now," Peridot smiles
"Oh yes, Lapis, steven has requested I take you to the pier tomorrow for a surprise," Turquoise says, standing to look at Lapis
"What about me?" Peridot asks
"He never mentioned you, perhaps it's something to ease Lapis into enjoying earth's culture a bit more," Turquoise threorises as Lapis gets an uncertain look on her face
"If it makes you more comfortable, I will be accompanying you." Turquoise reassures Lapis
"Yeah?" Lapis says, liking the idea
The next morning, Turquoise was putting on his coat and scarves, looking at the still sleepy Peridot in the hammock
"Lapis, I'm just going to write a note so she knows we've gone." Turquoise says
"Okay," Lapis says from outside the barn
Turquoise grabs a sheet of paper and writes, "Peridot, me and Lapis have gone to meet Steven, will be back later later. P.S. Don't start season 6 without me. Turquoise" Turquoise places the note on a box and walks over to the hammock
"See you later, my little clod," Turquoise says, leaning over the hammock to kiss Peridot on the cheek, Peridot smiling in her sleep at Turquoise's touch
Turquoise meets Lapis outside the barn
"Ready?" Lapis asks
Turquoise nods, and both of them fly off towards Beach City
Turquoise and lapis land outside the "big doughnut" and meet steven
"Good morning, Steven," Turquoise says
"Turquoise, Lapis, you came!" Steven says excitedly
"Turquoise did make a promise," Lapis says
"Come on!" Steven takes Lapis's hands
