Steven drops a book titled "Dream Wedding" on the table, in front of Ruby and Sapphire on the couch.
"This is just to give you some ideas. Ruby said she wanted your reunion as Garnet to be special." Steven tears up in joy."And there's nothing more special and romantic than a beautiful wedding!" He wipes his tears
"It's like they say: if you wanna drink the cow, you gotta put a ring on it." Ruby jokes
"But, sweetums, who says that?" Sapphire asks, and Turquoise also looks to be interested in the answer
Steven flips through the book. "Let's take a look at printing styles for your invitations."
"Would it be cool if we got flames on it?"
"Oh, and some dolphins!" Sapphire adds
"Yeah! Dolphins with flames!" Ruby says excitedly
Turquoise raises his hand. "What is a dolphin, and why are they on fire?"
"I think I got exactly what you're looking for on page 135." Steven says
"How long did it take you to put this together?" Sapphire asks
"My entire life." Steven answers
"This is gonna be the best wedding ever!"
Turquoise raises his hand again. "What is a wedding?"
Steven, Ruby, and Sapphire look at Turquoise
"You don't know what a wedding is?" Ruby asks, dumbfounded
"No, should I know what it is?" Turquoise continues
"Let me explain," Steven turns to Turquoise, who leans forward his interest, piqued
"Marriage is when some individuals who really really REALLY like each other want to stay together for the rest of their lives." Steven starts
"Think of it like for instance Rhodonite, their a Perma fusion they stay together because in earth terms they are married, or for instance Fluorite who is a Permafusion of MORE than one gem six in fact" Sapphire adds
"So liking more than a single gem isn't seen down apon?" Turquoise asks enough which Sapphire takes his hand
"Some gems have multiple partners, and in Homeworlds eyes, it may be frowned upon, yes, but we're not on Homeworld, are we?"
"Boy, multiple partners...Valentines Day must be confusing."
"Mhmm, I must think about this. While I do that, I shall go get Peridot so she may help us make these invitations, " Turquoise says, standing up and brushing off his lap
Turquoise thinks about the sudden revelation that Gems can have multiple partners as he opens the bathroom door
"Peridot, we need some assurance," Turquoise says, getting Peridot's attention while he kneels down
"Your back!" Peridot says, hopping out of the bath, Pumpkin following close behind
"Sapphire and Ruby have requested your assistance," Turquoise says, taking Peridot's hands and gently rubbing his thumbs on the backs of her hands
"And what do they wish for me to do?" Peridot asks, looking up at Turquoise
"I....it's best if Steven does the explanation," Turquoise says, picking up Peridot and heading back to the living room
"Ah, there you two are," Pearl says neatly, stacking the papers
"Steven, do you care to explain what we are doing?" Turquoise says to Steven whilst sitting down with Peridot in his arms
