Steven is sitting on the couch in the living room, deep in contemplation and having several flashbacks.
"I watched the leader of the Crystal Gems, Rose Quartz, shatter Pink Diamond!" Eyeball says in the flashback
Back in Steven's dream, Pink Diamond punched the glass in Yellow Diamond's Jungle Moon Base in anger, smashing it.
"So how did a Rose Quartz, with no business being anywhere near Pink Diamond, get so close in the first place?" The defence zircon says in flashback
"That's incorrect... the sword..." Turquoise says in the flashback
Back in Steven's dream again, a silhouette of Pearl held up Rose's Sword behind Pink Diamond and glared at Steven intimidatingly.
Steven gasps in fright from Pearl's glare in his dream, snapping him out of his thoughts, when Turquoise, Pearl, and Amethyst walk into the house.
"I can't believe you've guys have had your phones for a month, and you haven't used it at all!" Amethyst says
"That's not true! I use it to tell the time!" Pearl corrects
"That's also true for me, Peridot has been texting me non-stop whenever im away since I got it." Turquoise holds up his phone as multiple audible ding notifications pop up on Turquoise's phone screen
Steven groans in anxiety, as Pearl and Amethyst sit by the kitchen counter.
Amethyst sighs. "... Come here, P. Huh, let's change your wallpaper."
Amethyst takes Pearl's cellphone and takes a selfie, setting it as the wallpaper.
"Looks great. Okay, now texting is in the messages. Just click on this screen icon-" Amethyst says
"PEARL, CAN I ASK YOU SOM-" Steven interrupts Turquoise's attention
"Hold on, Stevo. I'm in the middle of a demonstration. Hey, anyway... Then you can type pretty much anything you want." Amethyst explains
Steven receives a text from Pearl, reading "Dear Steven, Hello. Love, Pearl".
Turquoise also receives a text reading "Dear Turquoise, hello. Sincerely, Pearl,"
"You should get a case for that thing."
"I do." Pearl pulls out a suitcase from her gem
"Smart now you can carry it safely." Turquoise remarks and looks at the suitcase
"Okay. I have a whole bunch of actual phone cases in my room. Don't go and throw that thing against a rock or anything until I'm back." Amethyst, enter the Temple Gate into her room. With Pearl and Turquoise, Steven approaches her nervously
"Why not?" Turquoise ponders a small thought bubble appearing, showing him full force throwing the phone against a rock
"Pearl?" Steven asks
"What is it, Steven?"
Turquoise, now aware of what's going on, kind of awkwardly sits on the couch and just sits waiting to see what happens
"...You remember how Mom shattered Pink Diamond? Well, I was just wondering, if maybe... You shattered Pink Diamond."
"I-" Pearl quickly covers her hands over her mouth involuntarily, dropping her phone onto the floor.
"It's okay. You can tell me." Steven pleads
"This is not how we rehearsed this," Turquoise says to himself as he types on his phone
Pearl struggles to speak, with her hands still covering her mouth.
"Why can't you just talk to me about this!?" Steven pleads slightly, raising his voice
