I was angry and walking away from him when he came after me and stopped his car in front of me. "Get in the car," he said. I shook my head. "I don't need your help. I'll go on my own. Besides, I don't sit with strangers." He chuckled. "Oh, so you know all those cab drivers, do you?"

I didn't answer, just glared at him angrily. He sighed. "Well, if you don't want to get in, that's fine,"he said. "Besides, it's getting dark, and there's no one around for miles. I've heard there are ghosts too,"

My heart skipped a beat. "Is that really true?" I asked, scared. He nodded. "Alright, then I'll go. You don't want to get in anyway."

"No, no," I said, placing a hand on his car. "I'll go with you." I got in the car and sat in the back. "Oh madam," he said, "come and sit in the front. I'm not your driver."

I reluctantly got into the front seat of his car, already annoyed at the situation. I couldn't help but glare at him as he drove away. "Don't think you're special or anything" I said in a tight voice, trying to contain my anger as I spoke. "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't absolutely necessary."

He laughed, a short, hollow sound. "Special? Haha, my bad luck is following me today, being with someone like you."

He glanced at me, probably taking in my glare before I turned my face away, and then shook his head, seeming appropriately contrite.

After a few moments of silence, He muttered something under his breath as his brows furrowed in annoyance. "So, do you want to go somewhere or not," he asked, his voice tight.

I responded with a taunting manner. "No, I'm just here for the ride," I said, a devilish smirk crossing my lips.

His face turned angry and he snapped back at me. "Can't you answer a simple question politely?"

If looks could kill I'm sure I would have done the deed. Taking a deep breath, I decided to explain where I wanted to go.

He seemed confused when I told him the location and asked, "Are you sure you want to go here?" I nodded. "Yes, I'm absolutely sure," I said resolutely.

When we arrived at the destination, I said, "Wait, wait, this is the house." His eyebrows raised slightly in surprise. "Is this a house?" he asked. "Yes, it's my best friend's house," I replied

I got out of the car, feeling the crisp evening air on my cheeks, and grabbed my stuff. I heard a voice asking behind me, "Will you invite me inside?" I turned around and saw the man I had just met standing there, watching me I hesitated for a moment, but then I nodded my head, "Sure, you've been so helpful."

I motioned for him to follow me. We were just about to go in, when he suddenly said, "You talk a lot, don't you?" I felt my cheeks flush as I turned to face him, with fire in my eyes. "How much do I talk? Have you seen how much you talk?"

Before I could get a chance to continue, however, I heard a voice from behind me, "What's going on?" I turned around and saw Raha, her eyes widening as she noticed the man beside me. "Salar Bhai?" she asked cautiously as she stepped closer.

"Salar Bhai?" I repeated, confused, "What do you mean?" Raha smiled and said, "You've never met him before? Ehmel, meet my brother Salar. He lives in America and he's here for my wedding."

I gaped in shock at this revelation, suddenly understanding the American accent I had heard earlier. Salar stood there, with a smirk on his face, and stepped past us into the house.

"I'm tired, I'm going inside," he said from the doorway. His arrogance was both intimidating and off-putting.

As I watched him walk away, my heart thudded with loathing. Before I had the chance to voice my despise, however, Raha's vibrant voice cut through the silence, eliciting a small smile to my lips.

"Hey babe! I missed you so much!" she beamed. I returned the sentiment with a loving embrace, my dear best friend. "I missed you too," I muttered against her shoulder,

Raha's eyes sparkled with mischief as she asked, "Okay, now tell me, what were you doing with my brother?" I tried to dodge the question, but I could tell she wasn't going to let me off that easily.

I gave her a sheepish smile and said, "Raha, I'm tired now. Why don't we go inside and talk about everything?" She stared at me for a moment, then chuckled softly. "Haha, alright, let's go inside." She said, as she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the house.

Upon entering her house, I was warmly welcomed by everyone there, from family members to friends. A cheerful atmosphere filled the room as I was greeted with smiles and hugs.

After talking for a while, Raha took me to her room. When I stepped into Raha's room, I was in awe at its beauty. The walls were decorated with our pictures, capturing our memories from the past few years.

She had an array of colours on the walls, and the light shined through the window, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere

She had an array of colours on the walls, and the light shined through the window, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. There was a cozy bed with a white blanket and colourful pillows, and a small dresser with some of her favourite items on it.

I sat on the bed, my mouth agape in amazement. "Is it really true that you're getting married?" I asked her, my voice barely above a whisper.

She smiled coyly, her gaze never leaving mine. "Yes,"she said, her voice light and knowing. "And next turn will be yours!"

I shook my head vehemently, unable to believe what I was hearing. "No way," I said firmly. "I won't be getting married anytime soon!"

She let out a chuckle, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Oh come on Ehmel," she said, her voice playful. "You never know what the future has planned for you. You might just find your Prince Charming!"

I rolled my eyes, not wanting to entertain the thought. "I highly doubt that will happen," I said in a disinterested tone.
