EHMEL!!

He let out a sigh before continuing, "My father got married to Mrs. Tazmeer. That's why I moved to America," he revealed, his voice barely above a whisper.

I was shocked. "Your father got married? What?" I exclaimed, unable to believe what he was saying.

"Yes, but Mrs. Tazmeer is not my real mother," Salar continued, his words hitting me like a ton of bricks. "My mother died when Raha was just 5 years old. I was 11 at the time, old enough to understand what had happened. My father did his best to support us, but it wasn't enough.

When I turned 16, he got married to Mrs. Tazmeer, and I wasn't happy with that decision So, I left for America to live with my grandfather. As I grew older, I started my own business, and now, I'm one of the most successful businessmen in America," he explained, his voice filled with bitterness.

I couldn't find the right words to say. I was speechless, and my heart ached for Salar. I couldn't imagine what he must have gone through all these years.

"Salar, I am so sorry. I don't know what to say," I finally managed to say, looking at him with sympathy in my eyes.

His eyes were teary, and he wasn't looking at me. "It's okay, Ehmel. It's been a long time, and I have made peace with it," he said, trying to put on a brave face.

But I could see the pain in his eyes, and I knew that it would never truly go away. Salar had been through so much, and I couldn't imagine how he must have felt all these years.

He looked at me, his own eyes filled with tears. "My mother's death was a tragedy, but I have learned to live with it. It's just...I can't accept Mrs. Tazmeer as my mother. I like her, she's a kind woman, but she will never be my real mother."

I could see the pain in his eyes, and I couldn't imagine how hard it must have been for him to open up to me like this. "Does Raha know about this?" I asked, wanting to understand more.

Salar shook his head. "No, she doesn't know. My father and I never wanted to burden her with this knowledge. We wanted her to have a happy childhood."

I couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for Salar. He had been through so much, but he still managed to keep a smile on his face and be there for his sister.

"So you don't like Mrs. Tazmeer?" I asked, wanting to know more about their relationship.

Salar sighed. "I like her, she's a wonderful person. But I just...I can't accept her as my mother. It's a complicated feeling"

I reached out and hugged him, trying to offer some comfort. He took my hand and held it in his, and I could see the tears streaming down his face.

"I never told anyone about this," he said, his voice breaking. "You're the first person I've told, and I don't know why. I just...I trust you, Ehmel. I trust you so much."

I felt my own tears falling as I looked into his eyes. "Thank you for trusting me, Salar," I said, my heart feeling heavy with emotion.

We sat there for a while, just holding hands and being there for each other. In that moment, I knew that our bond had become even stronger. Salar had opened up to me in a way that he had never done before, and I felt honored to be the one he chose to confide in.

As we sat there, lost in our thoughts, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have Salar as a friend He may come off as arrogant and distant, but deep down, he was just a boy who had been through a lot and was trying to find his place in the world. And in that moment, I promised myself that I would always be there for him, no matter what.

Salar noticed my tears and squeezed my hand in his. "Oh, you're crying, Ehmel. You don't look good when you cry. You're such a crybaby," he said with a mischievous smile.

I couldn't help but laugh through my tears. "Oh, I'm not a crybaby. You are!" I playfully retorted, wiping my tears away.

Salar raised an eyebrow at me. "Excuse me? I am not a crybaby. I am a strong, macho man," he said, puffing out his chest and flexing his muscles.

I couldn't hold back my laughter anymore. "Oh please, Salar. You're about as macho as a teddy bear," I teased, poking his bicep.

Salar grabbed my hand and pretended to be offended. "Hey now, don't insult the teddy bears. They're much tougher than you think," he joked, making me laugh even harder.

We continued to tease each other, our conversation filled with lighthearted banter and playful jabs. Despite our frequent fights and disagreements, we always found a way to make each other laugh and forget about our problems.

"You know, Ehmel, I wouldn't mind if you cried on my shoulder," Salar said with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Dream on, Salar. I'll save my tears for someone who actually deserves them."

Salar pretended to be hurt. "Ouch. That hurts, Ehmil. Right here," he said, pointing to his heart.

I couldn't hold back my laughter any longer. "Oh, stop it, you big baby."

We both laughed and continued to enjoy each other's company, grateful for the bond we shared. Despite our constant teasing and bickering, we both knew that we had each other's backs, no matter what.
