SALAR

As I held Ehmel close to me on the dance floor, my heart raced with a mix of emotions. She was like a ray of sunshine in a dark room, her vibrant energy drawing me towards her. Her soft curves fit perfectly against my body, and I couldn't deny the electricity that sparked between us.

But as I looked into her eyes, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Earlier that night, I had seen her dancing with Sarim, and for some reason, it felt like a dagger was being driven into my heart.

I tried to push those thoughts away, focusing on the music and the feel of Ehmel in my arms. But every time I glanced over at Sarim, my blood boiled with irrational anger. I knew it wasn't right to feel this way, but I couldn't help it.

Then, as the light hit Ehmel's eyes just right, I couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. Her smile was infectious, and her laughter echoed in my ears. In that moment, I knew that I wanted to be the one to make her smile like that every day.

But as the song ended and we parted ways, I couldn't shake off the strange mixture of emotions that had consumed me while we were dancing. As I watched her walk away, my heart felt heavy, and I couldn't help but wonder what was happening to me.

Next Day,

I woke up early, feeling both excited and nervous for the haldi ceremony. As I quickly got ready and made my way to the pool side, where the ceremony was going to be held,

As I approached the poolside, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful setting. The pool was decorated with colorful flowers and there were strings of marigold hanging all around. The music was upbeat and the atmosphere was filled with excitement.

As I was looking around I couldn't help but notice the two most beautiful women present there - my sister Raha and her Best Friend Ehmel. Raha was glowing in her haldi outfit, her smile lighting up the entire poolside.

But my attention was immediately drawn to Ehmel, who looked like a vision in her traditional attire. Her hair was adorned with delicate flowers and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

As I made my way towards them. Raha noticed my arrival and greeted me with a smile. "Oh Salar bhai, you're finally here," she said.

"I couldn't miss my beautiful sister's haldi for anything," I replied, trying to hide the fact that my gaze was fixed on Ehmel.

But Ehmel wasn't going to let me get away with it. "Aham Aham, I'm also here," she chimed in, playfully nudging Raha. I raised an eyebrow at her and she stuck her tongue out at me.

I couldn't stop myself from teasing her a little. "Oh, I didn't even notice you there, Ehmel," I said with a smirk.

Ehmel raised an eyebrow and retorted, "Well, maybe you were too distracted by my beauty that you didn't notice me."

Raha chuckled at our little banter, but then her expression turned serious. "Hey, no fighting on my special day, okay?" she scolded, giving both of us a stern look.

Ehmel and I looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Sorry, dear sister, I promise we'll behave,"I said, holding up my hands in surrender.

Ehmel gave me a wink and we both turned to Raha with innocent expressions. "See, we're all good now,"she said, earning a smile from Raha.

Just then, Raha's mother-in-law arrived and started the haldi ritual. I watched as everyone applied haldi on Raha, and I couldn't help but admire how radiant she looked. and then it was my turn.

"Salar son, come and put some haldi on Raha's face,"my mother said, gesturing for me to join in.

I couldn't resist pulling her leg a bit. "Oh, Mom, you guys go ahead. I'm sure Raha won't mind if I skip this part,"

But my mother wasn't having it. "No, son, it's your sister's wedding. You have to be a part of it. Now come here."

"Fine, but on one condition. No one puts haldi on me. If anyone does, I'm not coming," I teased, knowing that my family loved to tease me about my aversion to haldi.

"Okay, okay, no one will apply haldi on you. Now come," my mother said, giving in to my demand.

I playfully rolled my eyes and joined in on the haldi ceremony, making sure to put a generous amount on Raha's face.

As I was about to leave, Ehmel playfully said, "Aww, Salar you're so scared of haldi. Don't worry, we won't put any on you."

I turned to her with a fake hurt expression, "Oh really, Ehmel? I'll remember this next time you need my help." We all laughed, knowing that our teasing was all in good fun.
