Yeji's POV

In the soft morning light that filtered through the tall windows of Ivy Brook University, I walked hand in hand with Minho through the echoing hallways. The familiar sound of our footsteps marked the beginning of another beautiful day together.

Minho, his smile as bright as the sun that peeked through the campus, broke the silence. "Happy Anniversary," he said, his voice filled with affection.

My heart fluttered with warmth as I gazed at him in surprise. "Huh?"

Minho chuckled, his gaze fixed on me, his eyes sparkling with love and playfulness. "I mean, Happy First Date Anniversary," he clarified.

I couldn't help but laugh at his sweet gesture. "Oh my gosh, are you going to do this every day?" I teased.

With a playful glint in his eye, Minho replied, "Probably."

As we continued our leisurely stroll, Minho took a deep breath before sharing his next revelation. "Lia talked to me yesterday," he said.

My curiosity piqued, and I inquired, "What did she say?"

Minho hesitated for a moment before answering, his expression thoughtful and sincere. "She and Ryujin are going to a carnival tonight. She asked us to join them, like a double date."

My eyes lit up at the prospect, a rush of excitement filling my chest. "That's interesting," I mused.

Minho turned to me with a hopeful smile, his eyes never leaving mine. "You're up for it?" he asked.

I nodded, my heart brimming with anticipation. "Yeah, why not?"

As we walked side-by-side, I couldn't help but notice other students looking at us. Some were smiling, appreciating our connection, while others didn't seem too thrilled. Minho gently reassured me, saying, "Don't mind them."

I replied with a smile, "I don't."

"Yeah, alright," Minho said, his confidence unwavering.

"I'm telling the truth," I affirmed.

"Alright, but just don't mind them," Minho emphasized, his words filled with care.

And so we continued our walk, hand in hand, our feelings shining brighter than any judgment.

As night descended, the four of us-Lia, Ryujin, Minho, and I-agreed to meet at the carnival. We waited outside, our excitement building as we anticipated their arrival.

However, what struck us the most was the sight of Lia and Ryujin, just like Minho and me, holding hands and sharing laughter.

They looked incredibly happy together, and for some reason, my heart ached at the sight, and I couldn't help but murmur to myself, 'I'm probably going crazy.'

Minho, ever attentive, asked, "You saying something?"

I looked at him, offering a reassuring smile, and replied, "No, nothing."

Ryujin then greeted us, "Good evening, guys."

Lia quickly followed with her own greeting, "Good evening, guys."

Ryujin added with a wink, "Good evening to this soon-to-be new couple."

Minho graciously accepted, saying, "Thanks, thanks."

I chimed in, "Good evening. You're late."

Laughter filled the air once again as Lia playfully slapped Ryujin's arm and teased, "Because this friend of yours is slow."

Ryujin, wearing a mock expression of disbelief, retorted, "What the hell are you talking about? You're the one who's slow."

Lia cut off Ryujin, exclaiming, "Oh, my goodness. You took so long to choose clothes. You still wore your makeup."
