Poppy and her boyfriend

"AAAAAAAAAHHH!" I heard her scream at me and I physically jumped back from how shrill it was, I knelt on the ground and started to plea,

"Wait please! I don't want to hurt you!" I put my hands out and heard her already stop screaming and started to pant while she put both her hands on her knees. She almost let out a sigh of relief and started to giggle,

"Oh I didn't think you were." She smiled at me with such glee in her sparking rose quartz eyes looking into my sapphire with such a relaxed ease. This brought on a bit of confusion for me and I moved my body a tad closer, Floyd decided that he was keeping his silence and hid behind my neck, he stood on the ribbon of my choker make it a bit tighter against my neck, but it was honestly nothing compared to the feeling of Velvet's hands wrapping around my neck instead.

"Then why did you scream?" I asked as she walked closer still happy in appearance with a slight bounce in her step. She reminds me of puppy, adorable and super easily excitable, but that definitely made her cute.

"You scared me duh!" She said as if the answer was obvious and kept skipping closer to me until she was in front of my bent knees and I could understand why that was her answer, a mysterious tall stranger peeking at you from behind a tree like a creepy stalker....that made me sound so much worse but I completely understand why she'd be frightened.

"Well I'm sorry about that...." I trailed off to let her get the hint that I wanted to know her name and the hint she very hastily took and joyfully answered,

"I'm Poppy." She grinned while she put a hand to her chest whilst she introduced her self and made a hand gesture towards me as well I let out a small sigh and said,

"I'm Veneer and I'm out here to look for Brozone." I sat on my heels with my spindly arms in front of my knees with my nails digging themselves into the fuzzy felt textured ground. Her eyes squinted as if she were trying to recall something and I could feel beads of sweat roll down my face, what if she recognizes me from the forged letter from floyd, what if she thinks I'm after them but before I could open my mouth to stop her curiosities my boyfriend stepped out from his hiding place,

"Queen Poppy, where are my brothers, I need to get them before they make it to Mount Rageous." I let him walk down my arm and hop off my hand pleading to the Pop troll queen. She gasped and put his face in her hands and observed as he nervously shifted his eyes to consistently not meet hers, his pomegranate eyes refusing to let her probing morganite catch his. She smiled and said,

"You're Floyd! Wait but I thought you god kidnapped and used by Velvet and Ven-" she paused as looked towards me and I found that the bark on the tree next to me was far more interesting than the small pink troll's discovery. Floyd spoke up for the both of us,

"Wait Poppy it's not like that Veneer helped me escape, please understand that I wouldn't be here talking to you without him." I looked back at Floyd to see that he held her right hand with both of hers his dragon fruit eyes pleading with hers to end her unspoken scrutiny against me and I could feel my face heating up at his way to get her not to come after me, she sighed and gave up and said,

"Well now we need to find branch and tell him that you're here." She started to tug him along and he quickly stopped her,

"He's coming with us right?" Reddish blue Plum eyes scanned hers for a sign that I was allowed to be attending this hunt for his younger brother,

"Well, I mean he was apart of-"

"I'm going to stop you there Queen Poppy, if he's not allowed to stay with us to look for Branch and back to Troll village then, I'm not going because I'm not leaving my boyfriend behind." He store straight into her eyes refusing to back down from bringing me back and she quickly lit up and said,
