Chapter 21: Closer

As I lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling with eyes that did not have any signs of sleep. Thoughts roamed in through my mind.

Ohm. This is a good oppurtunity to court your crush.

Is he my crush?

Maybe Yeah. I have been feeling a tingling sensation for a while.

It feels likes I am falling in love...

Ohm.. You gotta complete the bet..

Sleep came so swiftly that when I opened my eyes to stare at the clock, I got a heartattack. 

It was already 7:37 AM?!

College freaking starts from 8 o'clock. I looked to my side to see why my phone alarm had not blared, only to see it dead. 

"Ugh.." I heaved as I somehow got out of the bed stumbling, and falling over my slippers. I catched myself as I put on my white shirt. 

I pulled up my jeans. The belt was already buckled on to it.  

I am lazy  to unbuckle it ..hehe  :P

I wore my blazer and fixed the tie. I had put it too tight. It almost choked me. I somehow fixed it.

 I went into the bathroom , brushed my teeth, somehow fixed my hair as I ran the stairs. 

My foot slipped as I stumbled across a few stairs, scaring me. 

I tried to catch myself but that only caused me to stumble down more as I closed my eyes when I came to the last few stairs..

God.. Don't get me hurt badly..

I closed my eyes as I felt something on my chest. I peeked up to see my huh? 

Nanon. His both hands held my chest from falling on top of him. 

 I shook my head. 

Am I daydreaming? 

But when I stopped shaking my head, I again saw him only..

He avoided my gaze as he said," Idiot. Don't you even know how to climb down stairs."

I was shocked.

"What- What a-are you doing in m-my house?" I stuttered. Heat rushed into me realising his face was inches away from mine.

The tingling sensation took place in my stomach.

"Your brother asked me to take the papers from his house about the Annual Programme of the year. Our faculty is presenting it this year.." He replied intelligently.

'Cute' I thought..

As he turned his head towards my face, our eyes locked other as we stared at eachother.
