AISHA

"Aisha?".

"Sir?".

"Kaisi ho Aisha".

"How are you, Aisha?", he asked.

"Good, now", I answered in a low voice.

"Kuch khaya tumne".

"Did you eat something?", he asked in a serious tone.

"No", I replied.

"Nothing since morning?", he asked and I gulped.

"No".

"Why is that so? Come-on have something now, it's noon", his voice reflected care.

"I don't have appetite", I replied slowly.

"Kya hua? Tabiyet theek nahi lag raha? Dawai lekar aau?".

"What happened? Isn't your health good? Should I bring you medicine?", he asked all at once.

"No, I'm fine. I'll eat later", I replied.

"Were you sleeping?", he asked and I hummed.

"I disturbed your sleep?", he asked in a cute voice.

"No, it's okay", I replied.

"Aisha", he spoke.

I hummed slowly.

"If you face any problem, any time, you'll call me first. Got it?", he said.

I was still confused why he was taking such care of me.

"Vivaan sir", I called his name slowly.

He took a deep breathe in and hummed.

I remained silent for a minute. I wasn't able to ask him anything.

"I know Aisha, many questions must be hitting your mind now. Have patience, okay?", he said.

I don't know how he understood my silence.

"Come-on get up and eat something now", he said with seriousness in his tone.

"Sir, can I join my office from tomorrow?", I asked slowly.

"You should take a break for some day Aisha", he answered.

"Home haunts me", I stated directly, "and neither do I want to see faces".

I complained as if he was someone so close to me.

"I understand. Come to office from tomorrow. It's my job to make you feel comfortable now, okay?", he said.

I hummed.

"Take care Aisha, we'll meet tomorrow morning, okay?", he said.

"Yes".

"Bye".

I hummed and disconnected the call.

I laid down again on my bed inside my blanket thinking about our conversation.

Night took over, the day ended and a new day started.

I got ready again for my office and left from my home.

As I stepped inside, people were present all around me.

I shifted towards my desk but Amit sir came and interrupted me.

He informed me that Sir has asked me to change my desk. He showed me my new desk.

I shifted my things to my new place. When I sat on it, I noticed that, his cabin was directly in front of my desk and his chair was visible to me through the glass wall between us.
