Explanation to certain things: The whole book was imagined. Everything that happened was Clay's schizophrenic episodes or George's dissociation.

Example: When George was "kidnapped," all the things that were happening were actually being done by Clay. George imagined it was someone else because he still believed Clay loved him. In the dissociation episodes, he imagined Clay as being a loving boyfriend when he was far from it.

The reason Clay moved in with George was more or less the same. George was scared of his ex coming back. Vampires and werewolves never existed. It was all in Clay's head and eventually in George's as well. George spiraled and couldn't tell reality from his dissociation.

The text: In the text he sent Karl, there were some uppercase letters that shouldn't have been uppercase. These letters spelled out help me. In the beginning of the abuse, George was trying to send cryptic messages to Karl because he was scared Clay would see a straightforward cry for help.

That's it. If you have any questions I didn't answer, go ahead and comment, and I'll reply.
